  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is how easy it is to use without needing much explanation or training. It makes sharing files and folders incredibly simple, whether I am collaborating with teammates or sending large files externally. I also appreciate how seamless the syncing is across devices, which allows me to access what I need quickly without worrying about version control or losing files.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is that storage limits can feel restrictive unless you upgrade, especially when working with large files or shared folders across teams. Occasionally, syncing can lag or create duplicate files, which can be confusing if you are moving quickly or collaborating with multiple people at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of managing, sharing, and accessing files across different devices and teams. It allows everyone to stay aligned with the most up to date versions of documents, which reduces back and forth communication and saves time. Having a centralized and dependable place for files makes collaboration more efficient and keeps workflows organized.

Effortless File Access and Sharing Across Devices

  • January 10, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I value most about Dropbox is its straightforwardness and reliability for storing, syncing, and sharing files across multiple devices. I can conveniently access my documents from both my phone and computer, without worrying about losing important files. Sharing folders or links is quick and hassle-free. The automatic backups and version history are especially helpful for schoolwork or personal projects, as they save time and provide protection against accidental data loss.
What do you dislike about the product?
A limitation I’ve noticed with Dropbox is that the free storage space gets used up pretty quickly, which can be a drawback unless you opt for a paid plan. The notifications and sync prompts can also become a bit much at times, especially when working on multiple devices. Still, even with these minor annoyances, the overall ease and convenience Dropbox delivers more than compensates for them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox addresses the challenge of keeping files organized, securely backed up, and available from any location. It removes the hassle of worrying about losing important documents or having to email files between different devices. Personally, I find it particularly useful for handling both my schoolwork and personal files, as it keeps everything in a single, secure location and updates automatically. This has made my workflow much more efficient and dependable.

  • January 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Dropbox is how simple, reliable, and seamless it is for everyday business use. It doesn’t try to overcomplicate file storage it just works, consistently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can add up quickly
As teams grow and storage needs increase, Dropbox can become expensive compared to some alternatives. Smaller teams may feel forced into higher-tier plans sooner than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves several core business problems around file access, collaboration, and version control, and those solutions have made our day-to-day work noticeably more efficient and less stressful.

Problem: Files scattered across emails, desktops, and shared drives
How Dropbox helps: It gives us one centralized location for all business files.
Benefit to us: Everyone knows exactly where to find documents, which saves time and reduces confusion.
