What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Dropbox for its ease of use, making file sharing and storing straightforward without complications. The platform allows me to effortlessly drop a file into Dropbox and ensure that everyone I want to have access can indeed access it, which simplifies coordination and reduces the need for emails. I find this particularly useful for keeping track of what I've shared. The initial setup was incredibly easy, much more intuitive compared to Google Docs, which I found confusing, especially when dealing with different applications within their ecosystem. Dropbox allows me to use programs I'm already familiar with, eliminating the steep learning curve associated with other tools. I also like that Dropbox integrates seamlessly with my desktop, appearing in the bar at the top, which makes it easily accessible and convenient for daily use. Overall, these features and the ease of using Dropbox prompt me to rate it highly and recommend it to others.

I use Dropbox to avoid using email for file sharing and to easily keep track of shared files, ensuring everyone has access while using familiar programs.

I like how it keeps teams organized. allows version control and editing online or on your computer as well as the ability to upload and lock files as well so others cannot edit.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its a bit hard to find a file that youve uploaded. I feel like the ability to search and find recent files or something you uploaded should be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
allow teams to work on the same file at the same time while keeping version control down. This way were not all working in silos and combining later own leading to confusion.

I have been using Dropbox for several years now. While there are many features I appreciate, what truly stands out for me is its user-friendly interface, the powerful search function, and how simple it is to create folders and organize my files. All of these aspects make Dropbox well worth the investment.

There is nothing negative to mention. It integrates smoothly with my other processes and files, making everything work together seamlessly.

I have large storage needs for video, photos, and documents. Dropbox provides a large storage capacity for the price and allows me the ability to access those files from multiple platforms.

Dropbox is best used for file backup, we can also edit pdf in it. Data Synchronization is also very good. Easy to use and we can integrate with other apps with strong security.

For free users there is a storage limit. Search functionality is also weak.

Clunky, always asking for login, slow syncing, difficult to link people within organisation (defaults to browser vs. using macOS finder function

It's super easy to use and fast to upload and share things with your friends or family or even with your clients or colleagues as per the need be.

Nothing is there to dislike about it. It does exactly what it says.

As a professional and even an individual, I often find myself in the need of sharing large data over the net and the first name that comes in my mind is always Dropbox. With Dropbox, I can upload and share the files without any hassle and that helps me as a support agent too for this is the product I can trust for the confidential files of my clients too. We use it to help us in migrating the huge data of Check Inn PMS that we need to copy from a users pc to ours, and without Dropbox otherwise takes hours or doesnt get copied anyway and keeps failing. ANd this data is very crucial for us to migrate a property to our PMS.

I greatly appreciate how Dropbox has allowed me to keep my graduate school papers organized and accessible. The ability to share documents and collaborate with my fellow graduate students and professors is incredibly valuable, making group work more efficient and seamless. Dropbox's cloud-based solution is a significant advantage for me. It ensures that I can store my documents securely, without the fear of losing them due to a mishap with physical storage devices. This portability is fantastic, as it allows me to log in from any computer worldwide and access my files effortlessly. Moreover, Dropbox has been instrumental in preserving my older photos during transitions between phones and devices, providing a reliable digital archive. The process is convenient, saving me from worrying about maintaining multiple devices to keep my memories safe.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface problematic when it comes to having Dropbox integrated with my computer. Recently, I accidentally deleted many documents on my desktop due to the unclear connection between my desktop and Dropbox. This could be made more clear to avoid such mishaps. Additionally, the process of deleting documents is quite laborious and complicated at times.

I use Dropbox to organize my graduate school papers and share research with collaborators. It lets me store old photos securely, interface issues aside. It offers portability and cloud-based access from any computer globally.
