A great service that might be missing a few important bits

  • March 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I certainly love the automated features--being able to sync a folder, or instantly upload photos from a phone. Beyond the automation I just find it easy to use and share.
What do you dislike about the product?
The ability to SEE and manage folders according to their size is the biggest missing link. I can't imagine this is a difficult thing to add, but I've been asking for this feature for years and as yet it feels backwards to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest thing Dropbox solves for me is sharing large folders and/or large sized files. I work primarily with imagery and it is almost always larger than you'd want to share via email

What do you like best about the product?
The easy way of uploading picture and files and to share specific folders or files with anyone you'd like
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a great feature to sync your photos automatically via the Camera Uploads but this is only limited to one device. I would like to have multiple phones/devices uploading automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing large files in a secure and easy way

What do you like best about the product?
A cloud based storage that has apps for every platform (I e., Windows, Linux, etc).
What do you dislike about the product?
Offers less free storage space compared to other competitors in the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The cloud based services like documents writing and sharing are very beneficial to me. Moreover, its seamless integration to other apps is great. For example, my projects are backed up from Overleaf seamlessly.

Dropbox is a very easy-to-use cloud storage platform with a user-friendly interface, making it simple for individuals and teams to store, access, and share files across various devices. What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox has limited storage capacity and recommend platform to increase it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to share and collaborate large files and provides me a reliable backup and version control.
