Got Too Expensive For My Use Case
What do you like best about the product?
I like the idea of sharing files and timing links and the flexibility.
Easy to use and pretty straightforward.
Customer support was always good and reliable.

What do you dislike about the product?
Price got way too high for my use case compared to other software I was using.
The desktop app was always confusing to use and would take up space on my internal HD no matter how many times I tried to make it work.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was solving sharing files with partners, clients, friends, family, and more.
Very nice and fast, but the value proposition does not measure up to OneDrive for my case

Fast, smooth, easy to use and pretty. I like Paper a lot, too.

Feature for feature it doesn't match OneDrive/MS Office 365

File sharing and requesting. Publishing a club newsletter with Paper.
Was best once upon a time
What do you like best about the product?
Sync across my phone, computer, tablet, access all my files on my phone. VAULT was great to keep things secure. When I signed up there was a 1 TB plan and I payed a nominal fee to have ALL my files backed up and saved for 12 months. So, every version of every file. That is still there as a legacy plan, but does not seem to be an option for new plans. As an architect of 30 plus years my files are often change on jobs there were many times this feature saved me and I was able to look at the different versions and restore. I love that. I access my dropbox more than 100x a day. ALL my work files are saved there. It's was and is super easy to use and to share files with others. It was nice when they went from 1tb to 2tb. Not sure if the price increased, but if it did it was nominal.
What do you dislike about the product?
They keep messing around with features. When VAULT came out, I loved that I could have an extra secure area. Now that is being taken away and it has me VERY SERIOUSLY thinking of changing services. Even If I need to pay more. Because now I'll need to figure out an alternative to VAULT. So, because Dropbox decided to drop that great feature, now I need to go look for something else. Not sure what, but, it may be better than Dropbox. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED. Price keeps going up, up, up. And now that they are taking away VAULT, I was really upset when I saw my yearly renewal go through a few weeks before VAULT, one of my favorite features will disappear. IF they want to keep me. Dropbox should say, ok, not new VAULT users, but LOYAL LEGACY users can keep using VAULT and we will never take this from them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thought more about problems dropbox is creating by TAKING AWAY VAULT. Solved me being able to access my files on my main desktop, table on the go or even on my phone. Don't have to wait to get to the office to share documents with clients or look up answers.

Dropbox is a Severe Security Risk
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is easy to use and is better than some of the competing platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are gaping security holes in Dropbox. I feel as my files are not safe. It keeps linking up with Google, and allows anyone to log in without a password. After several attempts to break the link, it continues to link up and put my files at risk. It is fairly easy to crack a Windows password. Once in to my computer, a hacker could start Dropbox and be able to instantly access my files. This is why I keep my important files on a competing cloud service. I even log out of Google but Dropbox will link back up once I log in to check my email. I do not feel safe using Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to store and easily access files that I am not concered about getting hacked. My important files are stored on a competing cloud service so that they will be secure.

Nothing. I heard youre removing vault. But its okay

Great space to share anything
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox since 2011. It is a great place to share my files with others. It is easy to use and allows me to share my graphics with other professionals. For example, when I share vector graphics on Dropbox, it shows a preview without requiring specific software. That’s why I frequently use Dropbox to share large graphical files with my clients. Also, it is integrated with Office softwares, so I don't need to give some extra effort on that indicating to my documents are syncing or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of my friends told me that Dropbox offers very little space for new users. I think that's a disadvantage of Dropbox. Nowadays, people share large files so often that 2 or 3 GB of storage is not sufficient for most internet users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is manageable to set an expiration date for my shared files and create public or restricted links. I have a 15 GB account, so most of the time, it is enough to share large documents with others. Other storage services also provide limited storage and time restrictions."

Easy to find my files and keep everything organized.

Recently I've gotten into digital art and in the art community having brushes and other things related to share with each other using drop box keeps it all together and easy to access.

Easy to use and share content on different devices. Had a free account the first couple of years and earned quite a bit extra DB storage. Getting to know the advantages, I found out I 'had to' upgrade.

A bit pricey.
