A hassle-free way of backing up and sharing files
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for many years because it is one of the easiest ways of sharing files between multiple devices that use different operating systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the free plan, you can only be logged into three devices at a time, but that's quite understandable, really.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox makes it very easy to access and edit your files on multiple devices. Open a file on your desktop, make edits, save the file, and know that it will be up-to-date when you open it on your phone or your laptop.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Dropbox for more than 10 years now, and what I find most helpful is that it is pretty reliable. I use it daily to store all my information, from work to personal life. My information is safe and it is easy to integrate with all my devices so I can access my files anytime anywhere through my phone or laptop. Syncing is pretty fast, I've never had any issues with that and I like how I can see all my files on my laptop without them using up space through the Online Only feature. Navigation is also pretty seamless and easy to use. I have tried other services and still prefer Dropbox best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to have a separate folder or access to share information with clients, that secures my data so I know that my account won't be hacked if I share files with others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all my files on the cloud and in sync with all my devices so I can access them anytime.

A must for work!
What do you like best about the product?
I cannot work without this app. I have 3 Mac's syncing to the cloud. Files are synced seamlessly between all 3. Can work from anywhere as files are readily available and synced.
What do you dislike about the product?
Backup feature is confusing. Use to like old method that allows symlinks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sync files across all devices and mobile. Solves problem of working from anywhere. Benefits me in that I always have the latest file.

My Background Workhorse
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox lives on all of my computers and my phone, ensuring all my files are with me whenever I go, and that I can quickly access pictures and documents at the drop of that. Of all the cloud storage solutions I've tried, Dropbox is the most user-friendly, affordable, and accessible, and I couldn't imagine it not being part of my daily workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside with any cloud storage solution is always in the fine print. Hoping they don't use our data to train AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They make sure my files are available everywhere, and that there is redundancy with physical storage. The benefits of not worrying about losing a portable hard drive are invaluable.
Excellent tool for small business
What do you like best about the product?
For a small business this is a great way to connect to my clients and colleagues. Avoiding additional emails, large file sharing etc and keeping it in an order that is efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
the limit someone may have while locked into my dropbox. meaning they may not be ablte to add larger files from their server even though it is 'my' dropbox as it says their upload quote is full.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox resolved a few things for us. The ability to host and keep large files in reach - ie video, tiffs etc. and allow them to share with easy and privacy. it allows for my company to work on a relatively small IT set up and not having to invest into large programs or materials of networking.

What do you like best about the product?
I've worked with numerous clients on all kinds of different size projects. Drop box has always been quick, reliable, and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is running out of space and needing to upgrade my plan.

What do you like best about the product?
The files I am working on get updated and synchornized immediately. The local availability of Dropbox is great!
What do you dislike about the product?
Creation of duplicate files. Dropbox should add better features so that duplicate or conflicted copyies of files are not created. Please also consider reducing the monthy charges.

I am able to collaborate with my students and colleagues conveniently.
Great for automatic file backups and sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I'm an academic, and I use Dropbox constantly. I keep all my files in it (essentially without using my documents folder on my computer). That way everything is automatically backed up. I also share files using the Dropbox links to make sure folks always have the latest version

Sometimes I wish it were simpler (fewer features) for a reduced price
