Dropbox is better than Google Drive

  • March 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a musician, the amount of files even for just one song can be a big amount. Being able to have every single file shared straight into Dropbox is a really helpful feature. The organized system allows me to find my files easy and upload, send, commentate on them as well. Collaborative folders are also a really great feature. My producer just drops files in the folder and I can access them from wherever
What do you dislike about the product?
Few downsides. It's expensive for the bigger storage subscriptions, but it's really worth the price.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has become my saving grace for big file transfers, for recording songs, for organizing song files/pictures/videos and even documents.

Everything*** I need is ALL in one place. It's a seamless user experience unlike Google Drive which is very unorganized and has a bad search engine (go figure).

Great Safe Space to Organize and Store

  • March 16, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox stands out for its user-friendly interface, seamless file synchronization, and robust collaboration tools, making it a go-to for easy file sharing and organization. Its version history and strong security measures offer peace of mind, while extensive third-party integrations enhance its versatility.
What do you dislike about the product?
On the flip side, the cost factor might raise an eyebrow, especially if your storage needs are more like a voracious appetite than a light snack. If you're wrangling a large team, the shared folder labyrinth can be a bit of a headache, and let's not skirt around the potential lag with heavy data loads. The offline access isn't always as smooth as you'd hope.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It puts everything i a safe space for me to use, collate, and occasionally collaborate from.
