Uses of Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
The thing that I like most about Dropbox is that it is easy to use. I use it both for personal purposes and for business reasons.
As far as personal use is concerned, I use it for cloud storage. I often download articles relating to my various personal interests. To store everything on my desktop computer becomes problematic after a while since this takes up disk storage so I have wound up storing these things in my Dropbox instead. Also, if I want to share any of the documents that I have stored with anybody else, I can easily provide them with a Dropbox link to the desired article.
Businesswise, as a software developer I have found that Dropbox works well in conjunction with our company's website. In fact we stored setup files for our company's software application in a Dropbox account, which is linked to our website. Customers can download our software by going to our company's website and the software will be downloaded from our Dropbox.

I haven't, thus far, found too much to dislike about Dropbox. The costs compare favorably with other cloud storage solutions that I have used in the past.

I love that it syncs when needed so I can access my documents anywhere, without having to use a different format system like google drive

When my pc puts the app to sleep so the automatic sync is turned off

rare conflicts. When I went on a trip last year there was a weather issue in Toronto while i was in Florida. 20,000 photos deleted. Spent 1 hour undeleting

Good place to store important files
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy user interface allows me to quickly upload and organize my files.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web version often lags and makes my computer heat up quickly and very noisy.

I am writing a book and it allows me to store my rsearch and drafts online so I can access it from different devices and I know it is always securely backed up the cloud.

What do you like best about the product?
Of all the things I need to think about on a daily basis, Dropbox eases my mind taking the worry out of when and where important documents and personal memories are stored. I have been burned by almost every physical mass storage item. Tons of priceless memories lost and unable to be salvaged. I also like that you can share and collaborate easily with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard for me to find something I don't like about Dropbox. I guess I would like to see the userface a little more organized. Maybe the ability to create a custom dashboard/widget looking screen where I can find what I am looking for easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves my storage issues but since I can only select Cloud Content Collaborative above....I can say that I don't use that feature a ton BUT when I do, it is easy to use when collaborating with someone else or a team.

The fact that you can save docs there and edit them when needed and if they get lost in another folder you can rely on them being in dropbox

Sometimes it is hard to find the exact doc I'm looking for when looking on my phone

Again it's beneficial in really finding the doc needed quickly

Phone app easily connects to my desktop to take photos of documents and upload immediately

Sometimes doesn't sync right away and the organization of uploads can get a little confusing
