Great service for access to documents

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Access any time, anywhere, to my fillers. Access across multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The next level above the free account is $11.99 a month. Considering that many streaming services for entertainment, that are used daily, are only $7.99 a month, it comes across as excessive, for something that is used occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessibility to my documents.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for over ten years for both personal and business purposes and I find its intuitive and easy initial setup to be one of its standout features. I love its capability to enable file management in a window explorer format, making it very easy for anyone to use. Sharing files with coworkers and family is seamless, and it provides me peace of mind by eliminating my computer as a bottleneck. This allows me the assurance that if anything happens to my computer, my files are safely stored in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love for Dropbox to have photo management capabilities. This is something that Google Photos offers, and I wish Dropbox included it as well. Additionally, I miss the picture display feature that Dropbox used to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox for file sharing with coworkers and family, ensuring my files are safely stored in the cloud and not reliant on my computer.

Reliable and simple file-sharing tool for creative professionals

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is incredibly easy to use and reliable for organizing, sharing, and backing up files across multiple projects. As someone managing large design and video assets, I appreciate how seamlessly it syncs between devices and keeps version history. The folder sharing permissions and links make team collaboration smooth, especially when coordinating between multiple organizations or creative teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, syncing large files can take longer than expected, and the desktop app sometimes needs to be restarted to refresh properly. The storage cost can also add up when managing multiple professional accounts, and more granular admin controls would be helpful for tracking shared folders and permissions across teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me keep large media files and project materials organized and easily accessible across different teams and devices. In theater and design work, multiple collaborators need to review and share updates quickly, and Dropbox ensures that files are always in sync without confusion over versions. It simplifies file delivery for clients, supports backups, and saves a lot of time otherwise spent managing transfers manually.

A Graphic Designer's Essential Collaboration Tool

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for probably eight to ten years, and as a graphic designer doing freelance work, I find it indispensable in collaborating with clients on projects. I love how Dropbox allows me to keep all project assets such as images, documents, and PDFs easily accessible in one place. Its seamless organization capabilities, particularly on a Mac, make it easy to keep things organized by client or project. I appreciate how user-friendly it is, making setup and daily use a breeze. Dropbox solves significant problems for me by enabling immediate file sharing with clients without the hassle of jump drives or the constraints of email attachment sizes. The larger files, such as high-quality PDFs, which are too big to send via email, can easily be shared through Dropbox. This not only keeps my client communication smooth but is also vital for delivering files to printers. Over the years, I have gotten immense value from Dropbox, to the point that I decided to upgrade once my free storage capacity was filled, underscoring its significant worth. The combination of user-friendliness, effective storage, and organizational capabilities, makes Dropbox an invaluable tool in my workflow, and I couldn't think of anything I would change about it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the frequent notifications about needing to upgrade due to full storage, which became a bit disruptive over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the issue of file transfer limitations, allowing me to receive large files from clients instantly and send high-quality PDFs without email size constraints, facilitating easy access and organized client collaboration.
