Dependable core of my business
What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox for file storage, information, management, asset management, collaboration, and more. The UX is fantastic, the service is dependable, the new features added are always valuable, and the value I get for the price is incredible. I love the fact that it syncs with my MacBook locally but keeps files I don't use in the cloud, so I can easily find anything, but my computer isn't storing files I don't need often.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I'm struggling to come up with anything. I've been a customer forever, at least a decade, and I have only seen improvements. I'm hoping to see some AI functionality to allow me to better organize files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files with colleagues and clients is an essential part of collaboration, and I need control over who has access to those files, and for how long. I love how easy it is to set limits on sharing, and I love that it is consistent and professional enough to be a robust tool among enterprise users.
Reliable but expensive
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is very reliable - easy to access on any device, documents are always synced correctly. I've been using DropBox for 12 years and it's never failed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's expensive. The web-based interface could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a good solution for collaboration and easy file exchange/access.
Easy to Share Documents
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to easily save, share, and access documents no matter where I'm accessing it from (phone, pcs, tablets). I've been a user for years and have no plans to change. It is much easier to navigate and share than Google Drive or OneDrive in my opinion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit much compared to some of the free options.

Dropbox helps me store and easily share large media and other files across many users
Good but could be better
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and link across my devices. I like that it links to Microsoft Word, which makes it easier to edit through Dropbox. I also like that the app installs as a folder on my PC.
What do you dislike about the product?
As someone who primarily uses Dropbox, the 2 GB seems small. I would prefer that I could just buy additional storage if I need it instead of needing to subscribe to get a larger storage space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can edit across my devices. If I can't have my laptop open in front of me, I can just use my mobile where I have also installed Microsoft Word. Dropbox's upload speed is quick as well, which is extremely useful.
This is a MUST have for your business!
What do you like best about the product?
I love having a central place to store all of my files and being able to share the files with my team! I also love how easy it is to get access to my files from the mobile device or my laptop.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides! It easy to integrate and use

It makes it easy for our team to get access to the files when they need it. Reduces the headaches that can come when trying to store things.

Use over multiple devices. Syncyng data is pretty gast.

Shared foders sometimes disconet on some devicese without me disconecting fhem

Great way to organize work across devices
What do you like best about the product?
As a small business owner, I am working all the time, across several different devices, and I use Dropbox almost every day, and has been really easy to implement into my daily work schedule. It can be difficult to keep everything organized, but with Dropbox, I am able to store, organize, and access documents, photos, and needed forms no matter what device I am on. It is incredibly helpful to be able to do this, so I can work on the go, and also be able to organize in a way that works for me!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have found is not being able to view a preview of some of my images when they are in a folder. It's not awful, but just adds a small extra step of having to click each individual image to see which is which if I don't have them named in a specific way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has allowed me to work no matter where I am, allowing me to use different devices to post and email even if I'm out of the house with my kids. Without the ability to have my documents and photos across devices, I would always be tethered to my big computer at my desk, so this has given me more flexibility in my schedule and work-life balance.
Useful, accessible and integrated
What do you like best about the product?
I use it to backup my personal computer files, which does 2 things: make sure I'm backing things up, and that I have access to my files everywhere I go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing files seems to require the other person to have an account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time backup of my personal computer. It's great because I can access my work / files anywhere without having to bring my computer everywhere.
A huge help for businesses and projects of any size
What do you like best about the product?
Personally, I've been using Dropbox for over 8 years now and it's been a huge help in both my personal life and professional life. In my personal life, I use Dropbox to store photos, videos and other media files, and in my professional life, I often take advantage of Dropbox Paper, as it's a secure, simple and powerful way to create documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox is overall amazing, and there aren't any features that I'm missing, however, I feel like the pricing for personal plans is quite high compared to competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping us create documentation and share it securely among our teams, Dropbox Paper is a huge help for this.
