Robust Storage with Some Accessibility Hurdles

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love using Dropbox as it offers me a reliable cloud storage solution for all my documents since 2019. It incredibly simplifies sharing various documents with my team, which makes our collaborative work seamless, especially given our large group of over 120 people needing access. I appreciate Dropbox for its easy-to-use accessibility features across multiple devices, allowing me to access vital information anytime, anywhere, whether I’m on the road, at the airport, or on vacation. The document restoration and rewind capabilities are outstanding and have saved me numerous times from errors or accidental deletions; it's truly a magnificent feature. The convenience of controlling access, ensuring some team members can edit while others can only view the documents, fits our working style perfectly. Dropbox’s safety features give me peace of mind, knowing that my information is secure in the cloud and not at risk due to hardware issues with my laptop or hard drives. These aspects, especially the vast storage and backup features, are pivotal and ensure I would consider using Dropbox repeatedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Dropbox's requirement for all users accessing shared space to have enough memory in their own accounts frustrating. Even when I pay for the space and want to share large documents with others, they are unable to access it unless they purchase additional space. This has been a hurdle because it leads to some team members having to opt-out of using Dropbox, which counters collaboration efforts. Additionally, the interface of Dropbox is not as user-friendly as some competitors like Google Drive. It's tricky for users who are not familiar with the platform, making it less appealing to those outside my network.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Dropbox solves my storage issues, providing cloud safety, restoring documents effortlessly, and allowing access anywhere. It enables easy document sharing and access control for teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for almost ten years and find it incredibly useful for uploading and sharing confidential documents, certifications, and other important information, such as high-resolution booth designs and conference videos. Dropbox has significantly helped me by saving time in sharing valuable documents with vendors, clients, and my team. It is not only user-friendly but also packed with features that make it more appealing than other cloud storage services like Microsoft OneDrive, which I used sometimes. Setting up Dropbox was a breeze, as it was very easy and straightforward using an email ID. I feel my documents are safely stored in Dropbox without vulnerabilities, likening it to a safe inbox, which gives me peace of mind. Overall, Dropbox makes my workflow smoother, enhances my productivity, and continuously helps in making tasks better for me. As someone who deals with multiple clients and team members, I find that Dropbox helps immensely in managing and sharing documents efficiently. That's why I would choose Dropbox again, and I highly recommend it by giving it a perfect 10 out of 10.
