No complaints! I can't think of any downsides to Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to share files with businesses in other countries. Dropbox makes this easy and affordable.
Dropbox isn't perfect but its pretty good
What do you like best about the product?
I like that most people know how to use it, can access files easily, and can be platform agnostic. For the most part, sharing files of any type just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Frankly, Dropbox is expensive for what you get, its not a perfect system, its not as fully featured as other more specifically project or work focused, and I think the interface between PC/Mac/App was a bit cleaner and more consistent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to share multiple file types easily with collborators around the world independent of platform.
Not for me
What do you like best about the product?
I don't think I like anything about dropbox. We don't use it much.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not very user friendly. We always seem to be missing documents or having to be reinvited to folders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to have documents shared in there by our client.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
Good price for a lot of storage and easy-to-use
What do you dislike about the product?
The app could be better organized but organization can be done on a cpu

This is a place to keep all of your photos and videos without cluttering your phone storage
Safe and easy to share

The safety measures they have in place to be able to send files.

Dropbox for secure uploads
What do you like best about the product?
That it is secure and fast and easy to upload and share folders and documents
What do you dislike about the product?
Just not understanding the differences between free and paid plans
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need specific documents to be securely stored and shared with investors.
Dropbox is the best unofficial app for remote workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox, by allowing you to store on an external drive has made it possible to work remotely as if you are working together in the same room. By utilizing Adobe Productions, you can easily colloborate, and share in a way that is unmatched by any platform that doesn't cost thousands of dollars a year.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you experience a power surge, and the external drive you have associated with dropbox goes offline, even for a couple of seconds, Dropbox thinks you have deleted every file on your drive and begins deleting them online- causing hours of time to restore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to colloborate with other people as if we are on the same internal network. When properly utilized, it has been a game changer for post production teams.
Dropbox works well in almost all situations
What do you like best about the product?
I use it for sending and receiving different files for 3 different business applications. I have hosted lots of big files, and use both the mobile app, and the desktop app for quick access to the service. I have set up the file folder systems, and it keeps everything organized for me. Getting access has never been an issue, and I've never been in a situation where I've been without access.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't use the auto upload feature, and find that feature to be poorly implemented, as it tends to save things to the incorrect area, or generally make organization more difficult. I'm more precise about the placement of my files, and where I want them stored.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending large files to and from collaborators.
Can be a bit difficult to set up, but super reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Wherever I am, the changes are updated instantaneously - piece of mind. I don't ever have to worry about security of my documents or losing them. I also don't have to worry about making a change on one computer and not having it availabel on another. Dropbox by far has the most stable architecture of storage companies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be a bit difficult to get the settings right - indexing and online only does not work sometimes. But easy to fix and once you get it working, it just works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
