Long time free tier user
What do you like best about the product?
- More affordable than Google One at higher tiers
- Native support for Linux systems, unlike Google Drive
- Extremely easy to make files available online only that do not need to be available on every connected device
- Easier to create and manage integrations (e.g. IFTTT)

What do you dislike about the product?
- Basic tier only allows connection to 3 devices
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a content creator and use Dropbox's free tier to share in progress versions of my work to customers to review. I am easily able to remove old versions of work to make space for new files without having to fumble with my trash directory or email attachments like I would in Drive.
Dropbox allows me to run my small business and a busy family life in the “rush & run”
What do you like best about the product?
Having dropbox is like having my computer in my phone. I can access to all my files and information information my phone. I can search for everything I need as long as I uploaded them in the dropbox folder. Dropbox serves me so well for having a super busy life with a full time job, a family business, two kids and a senior mother of 92 years old. For example, I can look up my mom's medical records or kids' school files in a rush in dropbox folder via my phone when needed. I love it, it makes my life easier and manageable. I'm very thankful to have Dropbox!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I paid more to get bigger storage space license. So perhaps cost could be a concern for some people.
Also, I used to have other issues in the pass when my company used dropbox for collaborative work/shared files, if more than one person opened and updated the file, it created another duplicated file (I forgot what those duplicated files were named) but we ended up with many files each one has different update which caused us so much trouble to reconcile them. That happened when I had worked for previous company. I don't know if dropbox has improved that since but I no longer use dropbox in collaborative manner so I don't know.

All files are accessible anywhere via smart phone
Used It For Years & LOVE it!
What do you like best about the product?
I've used it for so long that I can't tell how long I've used it. I never have to worry about losing photos or files. It even helped me identify someone who stole my phone years ago because they didn't realize all the photos were automatically uploading to my Dropbox. I save tons of space on my hard drive, and I can access all of my files anywhere I am without having to carry around my laptop.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point, nothing. They have fixed or upgraded anything that I had an issue with in the past.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have online access to my files anywhere. I can also access them offline if no internet or signal is available. I have signatures on the files.
Dropbox is super helpful for file sharing across devices and accessible on the web.
What do you like best about the product?
That I can access my files across multiple devices, sync automatically, and access them on the web. Its very easy to set up and use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Maybe minimum free storage. Also searching is not the best. Files that I know are named a certain way often do not come up when searching.

I use it for multi-device file sharing.
Flexible & Easy To Use
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is extremely flexible, working seemlessly on a wide variety of devices. It intregrates well with many different types of software. The ability to work on & offline is a plus, with data uploads/downloads automatically picking up where they left off without data faults in cases where the internet connection is lost.
What do you dislike about the product?
The maximum number of devices allowed on a free account is incredibly low.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Handling documents shared with multiple users (e.g. within the family & coworkers).
Peace of Mind
What do you like best about the product?
It's gives me peace of mind knowing that my all my files are being archived automatically, with very little effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downside, I like the product and the convenience it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reliable archiving of sensitive information.
It works and is very easy to use

It's just that it's easy to coordinate with different groups. It's easy to put files in and read and edit files from others

It sometimes gets confusing, especially with multiple users and projects involved

It just makes it easier for me to share files and to see files others have shared

What do you dislike about the product?
When sharing a folder with another user, the contents of that folder appear to be limited by the user with the least amount of storage space in their account, which makes no sense. If I share a folder and my account allows for 1TB, than the folder should be limited by my available space not the person I am sharing it with.

enables me to share large files or multiple files selectively with various users
Dropbox makes things simple and easy
What do you like best about the product?
I've loved using Dropbox and have had an account for years. It's the simplest and most reliable cloud storage service I've used.

Dropbox pricing and storage space isn't my favorite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can easily access and share files from anywhere and clear up large files to not be stored from my hard drive.
Convenient backup
What do you like best about the product?
How my photos get backed up automatically, the ease of accessing my files from anywhere and on any device.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - it's great! I can't think of anything I'd change.

Access to files from anywhere.
