Only viable option for dispersed Board of an association
What do you like best about the product?
Anyone anywhere can access the same copy of the document or file. Avoids having multiple unsaved copies on member's hard drives
What do you dislike about the product?
If I don't have the link to our files readily at hand it can be hard to find our stuff
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a dispersed committee who come together virtually once a month and we need access to the same files
Useful, but . . .
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to access Dropbox from any device I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sharing a file is done by sharing a link and not transmitting the actual file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is allowing my spouse and I to share documents pertaining to our children and our foster parent license.
High Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I find Dropbox indispensible is sharing large (and small) files to indivduals and groups. I use it for music and video projects. The upload/download speeds are now excellent and virtually transparent. I also enjoy being able to access my media on Dropbox through my phone for listening while away from the studio. I use it every day. In the current version it's simple and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the ownership of a folder, etc. can be problematic -- it can be fixed through copying, etc. but that's no fun.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving large media files for assessment, development, etc. Sharing relevant documents.
Been Using for Years!
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is super easy to use. It saves me so much time finding files from years before just by using a keyword.
What do you dislike about the product?
I seriously have no complaints. I wish there was a some way to dropbox my entire life. Haha
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had to share large documents with fellow co-workers or an accounting firm. It makes it so easy and safe to share larger documents than having to email them, which could take up to hours to transfer.
Have been relying on DropBox for over ten years.
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has been my "go to" cloud storage for over ten years. Accessibility is the best compared to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have NEVER had an issue with DropBox so there is nothing I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to quickly and easily access my files from anywhere and any device.
Great for File Sharing!
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes the process of downloading files quick and efficient. As an editor, I use this tool a fair bit and appreciate the interface for organizing files and assembling different folders. Video transfer typically works great and is a good place to store high-quality content.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to pay a higher rate for extra storage on Dropbox. Since there are similar mediums for video transfer and collaborative file sharing, I run out of space fairly quickly on G2, and am forced to remove files on a regular basis to prevent from exceeding my space limit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to work with video files from clients and easily download folders to the cloud. As such, file sharing is a simple process and allows me to collect extraneous videos without any major hitches.
Game changer and live saver.
What do you like best about the product?
I rely on Dropbox to store all my work, allowing me to seamlessly transition between various locations—Home, Office, Machine Shop, and Classes. The convenience of Dropbox ensures that I always have access to everything I need, regardless of where I am. The real game-changer is the immediate synchronization; if I make changes at home, they become instantly available at the Machine Shop. This efficiency has significantly enhanced my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I lost some files and i did not detect the delection so i let a lot of time pass by and could never recover the files. The Customer support was helpfull but too much time as passed by.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Umbiquity of your work files.
Important Business Tool for Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox allows my team and I to use update files in real time to keep our production moving smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
The online features sometimes seem clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing our overseas team members real time access to the content and we can add specific people to the folders they need rather than everyone having full access when they don't need it.
