I have been using Dropbox for years, here's my thoughts.
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox allows me to share a complex database that we use to create BIM models. Dropbox also allows us to share and collaborate on our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud sync option to make files available online only, in order to shave local disc space, is good for some situations, but not helpful on databases that have large folder structures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows us to share our projects and the Database we use to populate our projects.
Great when it works!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can safely and securely store documents and files on a cloud based service to free up space on my computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to know if your files are entirely cloud based or if they're in Dropbox AND still on your computer. I think it should be easier to move them from one or the other vs having to 'make' files offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We travel a lot for work. Files can be accessed from anywhere and when it comes to working on projects on the go, I'm confident I can retrieve those files when I'm not at my home computer.
Dropbox File share for the win!
What do you like best about the product?
What's most using dropbox is the ease of transferring large files that I cannot send via email to colleagues and coworkers. I really enjoy the ability to work across platforms as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I really don't like about dropbox is that I have storage limits other than that this great platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Box is solving the problem of sharing files that are too large to share via email and a secure and safe easy manner.
Easy and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Drop syncs across all my devices and makes it easy to share large files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about Dropbox. It would be nice to get more space!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing large files, even with non Dropbox users.
Best Cloud Service
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can seemlessly synchronize files accross multiple devices and retain cloud backups at the same time. It doesn't require a Microsoft Account, I can pick any folder to use, I can select which folder to keep local. The cost for the storage and feaures is very resonable. One of the features I like best is taking photos with my phone and then having them on my PC so that I can write reports without even having to think about it. This is one of those technologies that is almost transparent and works so well that it just becomes a normal part of everyday life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since they fixed all of the things I previously disliked all I can come up with for dislikes is it would be nice if I could select multiple foders to upload to dropbox, instead of having one drop box folder on my PC. I wish it could keep Apple live photos in a native format, but maybe it does that not too, I don't know. Also, I guess another bad thing is that now I'm totally dependent on it. Since everything is in the cloud and accessible from everywhere via my phone and since I can just log in from any PC with a web browser I'm too spoiled and can never go back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can share files and espeically useful for very large files that would be otherwise impossible for me to share without investing in another product or service.
Drop Box Use for Company Merger and Acquisition
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of uploading and managing documents between folders (copy, paste, move). The Activity features show you who is accessing documents and if newer versions of documents are available. Lastly, to set specific security features for collaborators within files. To see who is authorized and to remove access after periods of inactivity. Mobile version is also handy for sending file access to people in a hurry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout of the left side file map is always so small to see the hierarchery of files if the file names are long (needs txt wrapping).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The requirement to create secured file data rooms for M&A for the company. Propective clients can access confidential company files to contemplate purchase offers, request documents, and collaborate with lawyer teams. The ability to see who is accessing which file, version controls, and user audit trail are the top features that differentiates Drop Box to the other file share service programs.
Expensive
What do you like best about the product?
The service works as advertised. Files are stored and shared on the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's an expensive way for clients to share their files with me. It feels like double when both my client and myself pay for the same files to be stored.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My client shares their files with me for collaboration.
Dropbox is super easy to use and navigate
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share files with others within a click of a button
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't ran across anything yet that I would say I dislike about Dropbox
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to send clients files super easy. I just have to upload the files, and share the folder with them
A Useful Tool For Artists

What do you dislike about the product?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
