Great data storage system!

  • June 07, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is the best globally accessible data storage system. You can use it on any device, even offline, if you've already viewed the files before. You're allotted 2 GB as data space to add files from any device. Dropbox is a suitable way of transferring files between two devices by uploading from one device and downloading on another. If you want to send a file or multiple to another user, you can either send them individually using their respective URLs or move them to a folder and send the entire folder as a .zip file. Dropbox is user-friendly, with easy means of managing files. You can schedule automated activities, such as backups, encapsulation into compressed folders, organizing files, etc. One of the best features of Dropbox is editing the data inside files on the cloud. You can edit the files yourself or authorize other users to edit them together. You can also add or sync files from Google Drive if you move from one storage platform to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox's capabilities in storage, collaboration, and integrations are endless. I've yet to find any fault with it in my daily usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company uses Dropbox for all cloud sharing and data backups. My colleagues and I rely on it for everyday work activities that involve file sharing and editing them as a unit simultaneously. The benefit of Dropbox is that it automatically saves all the edits every few seconds, so we can rest assured that there's no loss of data if the computer shuts down unexpectedly. We can also review previous editions and revert any unwanted edits. Dropbox works best for sending files larger than 5 MB as they upload seamlessly compared to apps like Zoom and Skype. The scheduled backups also allow us to sync our files, making it convenient to share and access them on the cloud via shared folders. Dropbox's automation is so efficient that we don't manually upload files to Dropbox anymore. We move them to the Dropbox folder on the desktop, and they get uploaded automatically once the device sync and backup settings are configured. These features help us immensely during our remote work every day.

Dropbox speeds up signature collection

  • June 05, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how effortless HelloSign is to use. They walk you through sending and receiving an e-signature on a document step by step, so even if I wasn't familiar with the software before, it's easy to learn how to use. Another great benefit of HelloSign is that they keep a record of tracked documents as well as reminders when they are awaiting approvals from other users involved in the execution process; this has been incredibly reliable! Also, because it's accessible across devices such as phones or tablets, researching my leisure reading couldn't be easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Dropbox has a small selection of templates. I'd like to be able to access more, but if I'm the only user at work, it's not possible. It would be great if there were more options for individual users so we could maximize our capabilities without needing an expensive organizational package.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I benefit from Dropbox because it simplifies the document signing process. I no longer have to manually keep track of all the emails that contain documents that require my signature because they are stored in one accessible place in Dropbox.

Dropbox is an excellent cloud data storage service

  • June 01, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is an excellent service for data storage on cloud servers. Dropbox allows us to upload files and folders from our system. Dropbox's Desktop App will enable us to sync files from our local approach to Dropbox. We can upload, download and share files from the Dropbox.
Dropbox has an excellent user interface, speed and security.
We can sync files between many devices like Computers and Mobile Devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about Dropbox. But one limitation of Dropbox is that it only provides 2 GB of free space for the Basic Plan. We must have to buy Plus or another Plan for more space; other competitors like Google Driver provides more free space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to store my files and data on the cloud. It's fast and secure. I don't have to worry about Data Loss. Dropbox stores our data securely.
Dropbox has an excellent Desktop Application. I use Dropbox on my Ubuntu, and it seamlessly syncs my local data to remote.
We can manually upload and download data to and from Dropbox, but the synchronisation using Dropbox Application is lovely. We can copy-paste data to the Local Dropbox folder, which syncs automatically.

Dropbox handles large files effectively. Some other cloud storage solutions sometimes fail on Large Data Files.

Overall, Dropbox is an excellent cloud storage solution.
