Great cross platform cloud storage
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice to have a platform agnostic cloud app.
What do you dislike about the product?
If they would add the old 'BUMP functionality of tapping across a file, that would be great, I miss that functionality from any current product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can access important documents no matter where I am or what I'm using to access it. It makes things more convenient and organized.
Extremely convenient for sharing files too big for email
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox made it easy for my company to share files (especially large numbers of photos) with customers, sub-contractors and insurance adjusters.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot think of anything I don't like. It easily meets our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a lot of trouble getting large batches of photos to customers, subcontractors and insurance adjusters. Dropbox allowed us to provide a simple link for these people to access the files. It's been super easy to use and convenient.
Realiable work-horse
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Dropbox for what seems like aeons now. And regarding the core feature of keeping data in sync, it has always been, and my experience is, that it is the best. 99.99% of the time, it just works, and I was never caught off-guard with missing or unsynched data; if something is amiss, it alerts me immediately and clearly with options to remediate. In sum, it does what is expected of it, which is critical regarding business or personal data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not their fault, but it is not OneDrive for Business, which is fully integrated into the 365 suite. OneDrive has become, over the years, good enough if you use Microsoft 365 as your productivity suite, and it makes no sense to pay for an additional service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document collaboration amongst Teams. Mostly largish volumes of quotes, invoices and receipts as well as customer data that is business critical and requires a reliable solution.
Great platform! I enjoy it both professionally and using it for personal life.

I like that drop box is so user friendly and that anyone could pick it up and use it.

I wish that there was a larger storage space for their free version.

It helps me share large files with folks I am not able to see or work with in-person. It is great at collaboration across large networks.
A great platform to have all my important files at hand in order to share it among multiple users.

The limitation of space becomes a problem, since there are other applications with greater capacity.

What do you like best about the product?

Dropbox allows our organization to keep all of our files in one location so our employees can access them remotely. It is also a safe back up so we do not have to worry about data loss.

Dropbox can be difficult for new users. People who are not familiar with software storage or cloud storage could encounter struggles when learning to use it.

I like that drop box allow for the share of large files without occupying too much space on my computer or harddrive. I also appreciate you can share across different organizations.

Sometimes it is challenging to find old documents from drop box, or download them for permanent use to a device. Accessing a former file from drop box can be challenging.

Drop box allows me to share large files with colleagues without compromising our storage space on our devices. It makes our tasks easier and increases productivity.

it is very easy to upload and download files and as it is cloud based ,it takes a very less time for all the process of uploading and downloading the files. it also does not require expertise to handle.

the major problem is sometimes syncing the dropbox, the website sometimes goes slow and it takes a lot of time to upload and download the files. the login is sometimes the issue ,so that can be improved.

it helps to upload and download the files and as it is cloud based it takes very little time to download and upload files. as it does not require installation on different devices ,it is very easy and does not require expertise to install
