How to share documents and files between your own devices
What do you like best about the product?
I have found Dropbox very easy to use and helpful, allowing me to share documents and files between my home desktop computer, mobile phone and tablet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because my devices are not always connected and turned on, I must be sure I am logged in to Dropbox from each machine I am attempting to share files with. This is only a minor inconvenience and not a dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files and documents that I prepare or edit on my desktop computer and then want to access from my cell phone or tablet. Performance has increased as this product has eliminated the need to email these duplicate files back and forth between devices.
Great to store files but experienced technical difficulties
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great storage space for peace of mind that files are saved and can be shared with others in a convenient and easy way. To be able to share large sized files is also very handy.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have experienced technical difficulties in that our drop boxes were not syncing successfully without our knowledge. The only way to solve this was through contacting customer support which was a lengthy process and having to re save all files missed which was time consuming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing a safe space for all of our online files and documents. It is providing us a way to share files and folders with colleagues and share larger file sizes.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is a central repository used to store or back up documents. I like that you can upload documents that third-party vendors and clients can view without running into common issues using internal chains such as encryption, password protection, or file size being too big.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox requires the user to create an account, have owners approve that account and restricts who can view/edit a document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of sharing documents with external parties that would otherwise be cumbersome via email or another sharing mechanism.

What do you like best about the product?
Can store large files and documents with safety and security. I like how Dropbox communicates via email and lets you send files via email as well

How the storage gets filled very quickly and that you have to login often to not have your account get deleted

File sharing and storage. It is a great third party to send secure and private documents

The ability to log in and access from anywhere, and the mobile app, are life savers that I use regularly. Ease of use is also excellent.

So far so good! I upgraded to a larger plan, and having everything in one place is very efficient.

Having documents readily available and not scattered across multiple devices local storage.

What do you like best about the product?
After using it for around two years, I can say it is easy to use. I have stored all my important documents in it. The best part is that I can access the uploaded documents from any device. It supports all devices like mobile, tab, computers

This is a great tool, but they are giving only 2 GB space for free only which should be increased to 5 at least

It is a cloud platform that gives space on the cloud for storage. I do no need to carry any hard storage with me all the time, upload the data on DropBox, and get it when I want.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is straightforward to use for file storage, sharing, and management. Any changes sync across all devices allowing access to the most up-to-date file versions anywhere and anytime. As a remote worker, Dropbox is essential for collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although Dropbox syncs changes across all devices, an error sometimes prevents the file from uploading. If the green check does not appear next to the file, the changes made have not synced and will only be visible on your current device. While checking is simple, it can be the last thing on your mind in the middle of working. This leads to issues where other users cannot access the most up-to-date file version or uses the old file thinking it was updated.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I'm able to share photos with family members via a simple link. I use it for both personal and business ventures. My go to source for sharing! Dropbox is the best.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could have more space since I use it so often. I always get a notification that I'm out of space and need to delete a few items or folders in my account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the issue of sharing items with a simple link. Cloud content collaboration is key and Dropbox is my go to source for this. The best there is out there.

What do you dislike about the product?
Personally, I have not experienced many downsides. There is of course an issue of file/folder preview - like Gdrive shows a preview of files/folders.

It is majorly a content sharing method between collaborators. I have used it immensely to share different types of data - files/folders. I have also been on the receiving end of data shared from dropbox - like pitch decks.
