Great for importing Data
What do you like best about the product?
I work in R and have to import data regularly. Dropbox makes it easy to use a link to import my data with live edits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing negative that effects my work. Dropbox fits my needs perfectly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to share data between users. Typically spreadsheets. Using dropbox makes it so that everyone has the most up to day information without have to e-mail and delete older spredsheets.
Dropbox has continued to innovate it's products and services over the years!
What do you like best about the product?
Initially the ease of off-site backups. More recently their ability to listen to their customers and offer new services important to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
The constant changing of plans, but the value seems to increase so that outweighs it. imo
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy access to files on multiple computers and on the go. The automatic syncing of files and folders in the cloud.
Over a decade of personal and professional daily Dropbox usage. Can't imagine my life without it!
What do you like best about the product?
Working in a creative field, I've come to find Dropbox has simply led the curve on true workform synchronicity. From version control, to project disection, I have never once had a file version conflict while using dropbox. Of the millions of files I have cycled through their servers. Pretty impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, I feel the mobile app could use some TLC. It does not seem to have kept up with the standard of development that a very feature rich Dropbox has come to be known for. General app layout seems antiquated, and photos and camera uploads take way too long to load previews to make it a tool utilized very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily, version control across an animation studio and small 3d printing company.
Very Useful for Cross Use
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is that I had to switch from a MacBook to a PC due to an unfortunate accident... But with Dropbox, I can ensure I can still access ALL of my documents without emailing and downloading them. Considering the amount of records i have this has been an absolute godsend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Automatic syncing with two separate scrivener documents was challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-platform (PC/MAC) integration

What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Seems a little challenging to integrate into my every day work life. Would like to figure out how to better implement it. Not as user friendly as I would like.

The Ups And Downs of Using My Dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
What's helpful to me about Dropbox is the easy way that I can transfer files, and the frequency which I can do that. There's definitely a good process of integration that I do have with other devices which allow me to install and use quickly. Installation has been easy on my phone and laptop and iPad so I can switch back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The issue that's been least helpful has been finding that I can't upload videos to it on my iPad. I find that it's easier to do so on my phone, provided that I have my Wi-Fi up and running on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find that their expansion on the free tier has actually helped me out in terms of space, and I do appreciate how they've made the interface easier to understand and navigate for organization purposes. I must say that I do have concerns about their third-party backdooring of AI controlling of my files - I want the files I store in Dropbox to be my own, without having a fear that it'll be used to train AI software for undesirable ends.
Convenient way to save and share pictures and documents
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has saved me several times - once my phone got dropped at a theme park and I would have lost all those great vacation pics of they hadn't been automatically backed up to Dropbox and another time I was on the road trying to share documents and Dropbox gave me the ability to send a link to someone who couldn't open them any other way. There are more but suffice to say Dropbox definitely makes my life easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have trouble finding pictures sometimes. I have to search to find a picture even though I know the file date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed of sharing, sharing on the go, saving back up copies of pictures and documents without a device.
I can't live without Dropbox!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of it, but most importantly, the ability to access my files from all of my devices!! I also use the automatic camera upload. I have been using Dropbox since just about its' inception. I can't imagine using anyother application for storing all my files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not crazy about the web version of Dropbox and having to use web versions of MS products. I mainly use the file folder version on my laptop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accessing files from any device.
Dependable service that's been essential in my work for more than a decade
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to sync files across devices, easy to use, reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! The only thing that bothers me is getting notifications about being low on space, but I have multiple GBs of space free....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to sync files across devices and work seemlessly no matter where I am.
