Dropbox offers all capabilities for file sharing and storing in this age of cloud storing
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox gives this minimalistic feel into it. It's user interface perfectly fits an office setting where everything is sorted out to appear in a professional way. When it comes to accessibility and performance, I must say that it responds fast and doesn't take up time when loading the files I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though it offers a variety of features, one thing I dislike about dropbox is the way the folders appear to be too confined in a given space in the user interface. It takes me a certain amount of time before I could find the folder that I want to view. It requires a minimum amount of effort in sorting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox was the first cloud storage service that I got introduced to. it offers a wide range of cloud services, but the service that I find the most helpful for me is the ability to create a dropbox storage link where I can request post-training reports. In addition, it helps in keeping the files intact instead of having to download each file sent through email. In this manner, everyone is sent a dropbox link to a site where they can just drag and drop the post-training files required.
An Excellent App for Saving and Sharing Content
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can attach my personal and professional Dropbox account to my computer and don't always have to go directly online to search for or upload files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't connect multiple Professional Dropbox accounts to my computer and can only have one Personal and one Professional. Because I am self-employed, I work with various clients who each use Dropbox for their businesses. I'd like to be able to connect each of their Dropbox accounts to my computer so that I can work with them when I'm doing the respective client's work. It slows down my work when I need to access another Dropbox Professional account, because I can't save files or documents to them as easily as I can save files to the Dropbox connected to my computer. I have to logout of Dropbox for a client online to access another client's Dropbox account. And there are additional steps I have to take in order to either upload new files and documents to the respective Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to easily access my personal account along with one of my client's Professional accounts simultaneously, which helps me be more productive for the client.
Very convenient way to backup data
What do you like best about the product?
I can use dropbox as folder in windows (part of my h.d.d)
I can access my file anywhere
I can access my file anywhere
What do you dislike about the product?
The small free space available I can use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can send huge file size to others easily. App on my mobile to exchange photos and docs
Easy to use and navigate
What do you like best about the product?
The speed of uploading is impressive, plus you have everything organized in your cloud folders and in your locals; comparing it with google drive, the UI is so much better and understandable.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides is the price, to be honest, there are cheaper options, but they do not have the UI and UX that dropbox offer, which is why I like DP the most
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having my files everywhere I go (obviously where my devices have an internet connection) and easy uploading and downloading from it have made my work more organized.
Helpful for sharing documents
What do you like best about the product?
Easily share documents and sheet music in one place. Adding teachers, students, and parents to Dropbox one time, allows everyone access to all future shared information
What do you dislike about the product?
Organizing files could be better. However, with the overall eas of use, taking extra time searching for documents is merely a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, no need to change a thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing of documents and sheet music, through one group application. Dropbox has saved me hours of sending email messages and attaching files. Simply upload to Dropbox, and those invited have access.
Good document sharing platform, difficult to implement
What do you like best about the product?
It is helpful to have a platform that syncs with your computer hard-drive to share files and collaborate on projects without having to launch the Dropbox application each time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggled to implement Dropbox onto my hard drive. If you don't know how to select sync just what is necessary for your workspace, your file explorer can become very cluttered with every file included in your organization's shared folders. I needed our team's operation manager to walk me through the implementation, so my file explorer (and myself) don't get overwhelmed with too many shared files and workspaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping our team collaborate on projects and documents in real-time, so we don't have to clutter each other's email inboxes with multiple rounds of drafts for edits and reviews. We can have the same number of "hands" touch a file without incessant sharing and confusion over which is the most up-do-date document.
Great tool for document storage.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to keep organized and it's simple to share documents with colleagues. One of the best things about this product is that it keeps me focused without distracting me too much while trying to complete work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really like how I need to sign into dropbox in order to use it. My company currently uses BOX and not dropbox, so it's not as easy to use as it's not a central corporate tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document creation and storage. Ensuring that all the documentation I'm working on it kept in a central place and easy to access. Dropbox is a tool that's used by many companies, so it ensures it's dependable.
An easy way to store and share files.
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to store my files and share them at the same time. I feel better using dropbox than google drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I don't like about dropbox. It's a pretty solid apllication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes a file, video, or picture might be too big to send through an email. So using dropbox to share things takes care of that problem.
Drop box - the ultimate cloud storage
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that you can share files with anyone through drop box from anywhere as well as store files too for free. Drop box client app is the best cloud storage app out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have liked 20 GB free storage instead of only 5 GB. Other than that, there is not anything else to dislike. I would say if you use drop box even for once, you won't like anything else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a service provider, I need to share files with my clients everyday. Drop box made it easy for me. I can even edit files from drop box without having to download locally on my PC.
Simple and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I don't need to be a developer to be an admin. I can create folders and sharing settings with ease and do not have to rely on tech resources assistance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are not as feature-rich as competitors. For example, if I want to see how many times a person has viewed a document, I can see that, but not how long they spent on the document or how long they spent on each page.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Dropbox to share sensitive files that need to be securely transferred. Due to the sensitive nature of the documents, we couldn't share them via email so Dropbox was the perfect solution for us.
