I like Dropbox for the user experience and the UI, which makes it convenient to access and upload photos and videos. The logo is appealing too, making me want to open the app repeatedly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The upload speed for images is quite low. It would be great if it could upload images faster.

User-Friendly, Reliable Sync with Seamless Desktop Integration

  • March 27, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is very user-friendly and reliable. I really like how quickly it syncs files between my computer and mobile devices. It works perfectly in the background, so I don't have to worry about it. The desktop integration is seamless – browsing cloud files feels just like using a local drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing for the higher storage tiers could be a bit more competitive, especially for individual users. I’ve also noticed that the desktop app can use a lot of CPU resources when it’s indexing a large number of small files, which can be frustrating. On top of that, the free tier offers very limited storage compared to some competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of keeping my important documents and projects secure and accessible. I no longer worry about manual backups because everything happens automatically. It also makes sharing large files with clients or partners much easier – instead of sending heavy email attachments, I just send a link. This saves me a lot of time and hassle.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think we could increase the data limit on Dropbox. Expanding it a bit more would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I like using it to back up my most important data to the cloud. It’s very easy to use, and it helps keep my data safe and secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main drawback has to be the price. Google has better pricing. We’ve also had issues with real-time syncing when working on the same files with multiple team members.

  • March 26, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Dropbox allows me to work on shared folders with my team, reducing confusion and duplication since everyone is on the same page with real-time updates. It’s convenient for commenting on files and tracking updates, which keeps our work aligned. I appreciate the access to files without needing a specific device, which is especially useful for distributed teams and on-the-go work. The ability to view file history, restore previous versions, and easily recover deleted files is incredibly beneficial. The initial setup is very simple—just log in, and all the options are readily available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow syncing with large files and uploading and downloading big files can take time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Dropbox to store files in the cloud, sync data across devices, work on shared folders with teams, access files anywhere, and quickly recover deleted items.

Simple, Reliable File Syncing and Collaboration with Dropbox

  • March 25, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
its simplicity and reliability and it makes storing, syncing, and sharing files across devices very easy, while also offering helpful features like shared folders, version history, and secure access, which make collaboration smooth and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback of Dropbox is that its free storage is quite limited compared to other platforms, and the paid plans can feel relatively expensive for what you get. It can also be a bit confusing to manage permissions and shared folders at times, especially when collaborating with multiple users, and syncing large files occasionally takes longer than expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of managing and accessing files across different devices and locations by providing a central, cloud-based storage system that syncs automatically. This benefits me by making it easy to access important documents anytime, share files quickly with others, and collaborate without worrying about version control or losing data, ultimately saving time and improving efficiency.
