What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox's ability to upload your files and documents and get access to these files from anywhere, anytime, and from any device is astonishing. Dropbox can be downloaded on any platform, and it can be used by any user thanks to the friendly user interface. Implementing Dropbox in your organization is straightforward thanks to the great customer support and the ease of integration with multiple platforms.

Reliable cloud storage solution for secure file sharing and collaboration

  • February 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is its reliability and ease of file synchronization across devices. The platform makes it simple to store, share, and access files securely from anywhere. The interface is intuitive, and collaboration features such as shared folders and file version history are very practical in a professional environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can become expensive as storage needs grow, especially for smaller teams. Additionally, advanced administrative controls and reporting features could be more flexible compared to some enterprise-focused competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of fragmented file storage and inefficient file sharing. In a professional context, it centralizes documents, improves collaboration between team members, and ensures that everyone works on the latest version of a file. This reduces confusion, prevents data loss, and increases productivity.

Simple, Reliable Sync and Stress-Free Collaboration Across Devices

  • February 09, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is its simplicity and reliability. Files automatically sync across devices, and without extra effort, the latest version is always available. The interface is also quite clean and easy-to-use, even for non-technical users.

Dropbox is especially useful for file sharing and collaboration. Large files are easily shared using links, and the version history feature is quite helpful when you need to recover an older version of a file. The sync speed remains overall consistent and dependable, which adds to the trust factor.

Another big plus is its cross-platform support. Whether I’m using a laptop, mobile, or a web browser, access remains smooth and everything stays in sync. Overall, Dropbox genuinely makes file management and collaboration easy and stress-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Dropbox is its pricing. As storage needs grow, plans can become expensive compared to some other cloud storage options. For individual users or small teams, this can feel a bit restrictive.

Another area is storage space on lower-tier plans, which fills up quickly. If you regularly share large files, space management can be a bit challenging.

Occasionally, sync issues can occur, especially when working with very large folders or unstable internet connections. While it doesn’t happen often, when it does, troubleshooting can take some time.

That said, these are relatively minor drawbacks, and overall Dropbox still provides a very reliable and user-friendly experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves the problem of file access, sharing, and collaboration across multiple devices and locations. Instead of relying on local storage or external drives, all files are securely stored in the cloud and are easily accessible anytime, anywhere. This makes the work quite flexible.

It also simplifies file sharing. Large files can be shared through links without worrying about email attachment limits. This saves time and makes collaboration with team members and clients much smoother.

Another major benefit is version control and backup. If there is a mistake in a file or an older version is needed, Dropbox makes it easy to restore previous versions, which reduces the risk of data loss.

Overall, Dropbox improves productivity by keeping files organized, synced, and easily accessible, while reducing manual effort and dependency on physical storage.

Digital signatures have streamlined hiring and protected sensitive documents across our workflow

  • February 09, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Dropbox Sign is that we take sensitive information very seriously, and by using Dropbox Sign, we are able to store documents safely. New hires are able to fill out new hire forms anytime, anywhere. Electronic forms and e-signatures ensure forms are completed before submission, which decreases the likelihood of an error. Dropbox Sign has made our onboarding process smooth and easy.

A quick specific example of how I use Dropbox Sign in my onboarding process is that when taking on new hires or training new hires, they are able to sign the forms that we send them through Dropbox Sign. They are able to open their mobile app, sign, and fill out everything. We are able to guide them from start to finish. Our focus is not just on what is easy for us, but also on what works best for our clients and their employees. We love keeping things efficient, simple, and stress-free. Using Dropbox Sign electronic forms has helped us accomplish that significantly.

Regarding my main use case with Dropbox Sign, it also makes it very easy to have business development leads sign our NDAs and agreements all the way to closing.

What is most valuable?

The best features Dropbox Sign offers include keeping all our documents in the system for a long time. The confirmation of signature emails include the email address of the person who signed, which is a great feature. Importing documents works great. Templates are huge time-savers. The audit trail of all the events leading up to the signing of the document is excellent. Electronic forms and up-to-date notifications on status are very valuable. It is very user-friendly, even to people who have never used electronic forms.

Dropbox Sign has a clean user interface and is very user-friendly with ease of use. It is easy to build templates.

Dropbox Sign has positively impacted my organization since we started using this tool. Everything has been positive. We have seen less time handling or directing people to sign documents. It has been a fast, professional way to get an electronic signature. We are able to reference older contracts and reprint as needed. We have seen it save a lot of time. It has increased production by having contracts signed electronically. There is cost savings by not having to print paper and use ink, which is very expensive.

What needs improvement?

I do not have any significant cons. I do feel that customer support should be more proactive 24/7 since sometimes they are not very proactive.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dropbox Sign for six to seven years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I find Dropbox Sign very stable. I have not seen any downtime or lagging.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign's scalability is very good. It handles my organization's growth efficiently.

How are customer service and support?

I would say customer support is relatively great because they are able to respond to our queries, despite sometimes taking a lot of time to respond. Overall, they are great.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Previously, I used DocuSign. The reason why I switched is that the functionality, despite being very similar, DocuSign is costlier. It has some more robust settings, which makes it a bit complicated. Customer support is also a bit less robust compared to DocuSign.

How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the pricing was very affordable and pocket-friendly. Setting it up was straightforward with no major hassle.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment since errors were reduced by fifty percent because we do not have to manually sign documents. There is increased production by having contracts signed electronically. In terms of cost savings, forty to fifty percent of our cost is saved by not having to print paper and use ink, which is very expensive. Our clients do not have to travel from their offices to come into our offices to sign documents, which saves travel costs.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

In terms of metrics related to time saved or cost savings since I started using Dropbox Sign, I estimate around forty to fifty percent cost savings. Time savings are around thirty to forty-five percent.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Dropbox Sign, I evaluated other options including Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Foxit PDF Editor.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using Dropbox Sign is that it is very easy to use and has increased our production by being able to conveniently provide our clients the ability to securely sign documents without having to come into our offices, which saves time and cost. I have not really ever used the templates and have not seen a real use for them, but perhaps it is because I have not taken the time to understand the different functionality and how it could positively impact my business. I am planning on using templates to save more time. I rate this product a nine out of ten.

Digital signatures have transformed hiring and contracts and save time, travel, and paper waste

  • February 08, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Dropbox Sign is that it has made life much easier and more convenient in the office, and the price was much more affordable than our previous tool, which was DocuSign. The only time it has not worked well has been with clients who do not have access to email, which is pretty rare these days. If document edits are required, it can be somewhat inconvenient to have to delete the old file, restart the submission, and sometimes have the client complain the link will not work because they are using the previous email.

Currently, I use Dropbox Sign for the new hire application process with our HR department. This saves internal personnel time by having the application link directly available from our website. The new hire candidate simply clicks, fills in, and electronically signs the application. When the application is signed, we receive a link back to the completed document. It has also eliminated the need for long lead times, mailing paper documents, post office delays, printer issues, and many other obstacles.

Dropbox Sign makes it really easy to collect a signature and other pertinent information from both our employees, vendors, and new hires when processing their paperwork. I also utilize a contract with my clients so expectations are clear. Dropbox Sign helps me show them the final contract to be signed while keeping paper waste down. I love the ability to upload my documents, and I especially appreciate being informed once it is signed and even when the client has looked at it.

What is most valuable?

Dropbox Sign's best features are that it is easy to sign documents, easy to upload documents, easy to send, and easy to use. Additionally, it is easy to navigate, easy to seamlessly integrate, and can get multiple signatories on the same document, which is time-saving. There are also reminders for the document status.

Dropbox Sign has positively impacted my organization by providing a central storage point for all employees' onboarding records. It improves efficiency in collecting and completing onboarding and also improves efficiency in timeline and ease of use for client contracts. I have seen faster time to contract signature and earlier completion of employee onboarding. I have been able to save 60 to 70% of my time, especially because there is no meeting with the client to sign documents. I have also been able to cut costs by 30%, with no traveling costs.

What needs improvement?

One of the areas that I would love Dropbox Sign to improve is when it comes to template use. It is already difficult to use for the same document or to have multiple users each sign an individual document. Sending multiple documents to a single user is also very difficult. I think there is considerable room for improvement in the current state of the app, and redesigning would be best, especially when dealing with templates and document workflows.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dropbox Sign for seven years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign is very stable, and I have not experienced any lagging or downtime.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

According to my own experience, Dropbox Sign's scalability is very good. I am able to send one contract and have multiple signatories, and it works very well.

How are customer service and support?

Dropbox Sign's customer support is perfect, very unparalleled, supportive, and professional.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I switched from DocuSign because I needed a better solution.

How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been positive, as Dropbox Sign is one of the most cost-effective document management solutions on the market. It is very cost-effective and easy to use. The setup was straightforward with the help of customer support, which is very proactive and responsive 24/7.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment as I save paper, hence conserving the environment. It is easy to use and legitimate, making documents look very professional. Dropbox Sign offers a communication tool between my clients and me, hence promoting collaboration. It saves a lot of time and cost since there are no traveling costs.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Dropbox Sign, I evaluated other options such as Canva.

What other advice do I have?

My advice to others looking into using Dropbox Sign is that it is perfect for any size of organization, whether small, medium, or large. It keeps contracts legit, paperless, and organized. Dropbox Sign is very easy to use, and the contract helps clarify the expectation goals of my services after our initial meeting. Dropbox Sign works very well for my organization and my personal needs, and it is very cost-effective. I would rate this review nine out of ten.

Digital signatures have replaced travel and paperwork and now streamline all client agreements

  • February 08, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Dropbox Sign is a very nice tool to sign and request signatures securely online, enabling us to add legally valid signatures to any agreement from new hire offer letters to loans, to sales contracts, to NDAs. Its user interface, admin controls, document tracking, and enterprise-grade security make it more secure than pen and paper methods and come default out of the box.

Dropbox Sign is very customizable and easy to use. We use Dropbox Sign daily to collect signatures from our clients on fee contracts and also other documents to retain us, especially when many of our clients live out of state. Dropbox Sign helps us collect signatures instantly without emailing, downloading, scanning, emailing, or mailing the originals back to us. It is also easy to use, track which documents are missing signatures, trigger reminders, and access any past fully executed document.

What is most valuable?

Someone who has never used Dropbox Sign before could quickly figure it out without needing a tutorial or guide. It is very useful in instantly collecting signatures and keeping others in the loop as well, even if they are beginners or are not signers. I love that our clients really love this tool because they find it easy to use whenever they are working, especially when using the mobile app or even working remotely. They can sign their documents on the go or even while working remotely, saving them the need to move from their offices to come to our offices to sign documents.

Some of the best features that Dropbox Sign has to offer include being user-friendly, with no training of any sort needed to use it. It is pretty self-explanatory. I love the follow-ups; if a document goes unsigned, it automatically sends a reminder, but you can also easily trigger reminders to be emailed. The notifications are also super helpful—an email is sent if the signer even opens the document but does not sign it instantly, letting me know that someone saw what I sent them. I appreciate getting another notification after they sign and a final email after everyone has signed the documents, including executed documents as an attachment.

Since we started using Dropbox Sign, we have seen significant improvements, especially in terms of time and cost. Our clients do not have to travel from their offices to come into ours, and we do not have to go to their office to sign documents; we just handle everything through Dropbox Sign, making it very convenient, professional, and easy. This allows our clients to resolve cases from out of state, saving them from travel. Additionally, it is saving paper; I often digitally sign a document as the only signer, maybe when I am on a solo project. This saves paper that would have otherwise been printed to fill out by hand, scanned, and discarded.

Dropbox Sign has been a game changer in my organization, especially when dealing with a lot of documents to be signed at once. I do not think there is any major dislike or improvement that I would love to see, but help buttons for more complicated steps would be beneficial. Additionally, when the system sends a reminder to a client for signing a document, I would appreciate also receiving a copy of that email.

What needs improvement?

One small thing is that Dropbox Sign does not recognize signature fields in PDFs.

I also wish it could recognize the font and font size used in my contracts and simply apply the same formatting for the date and anything that needs to be typed into the client.

For how long have I used the solution?

My experience with Dropbox Sign has been five to six years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign is very stable; I have not experienced any downtime or lagging.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign is very scalable and can handle all our contracts to be signed on time without any buffering or crashing. It grows with my organization's needs perfectly.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is one of the best; they are very interactive, proactive, supportive, and professional 24/7.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

Previously, we used another tool called DocuSign. We switched from DocuSign because it was not user-friendly, and our clients complained about its complexity. The cost was also a bit higher, and the support was not as proactive as that of Dropbox Sign.

How was the initial setup?

Dropbox Sign is one of the most cost-effective e-signature platforms. It has been really cost-saving; it is not expensive. Any size of organization can afford it or use it for personal use. The licensing cost is very low and the price is very low, making it very easy to use for both the signee and clients. The setup was straightforward and easy.

What was our ROI?

Previously, we were using DocuSign, and when I compare the two, DocuSign and Dropbox Sign, I see we have been able to save an extraordinary amount of money, almost $1,000 per month or even more, which accounts for about 30% of our cost savings. We have also saved a lot of time, nearly 50% of our time and our client's time, enabling us to focus on more strategic tasks.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Dropbox Sign, we evaluated other options. I do not think we explored the market fully enough; we only briefly considered one other tool called Gemini.

What other advice do I have?

Quick signing of documents is a huge time-saver, along with cost savings on gas to obtain a written signature, as travel back and forth is unnecessary for us or our clients.

Dropbox Sign is very seamless, has a good interface, and you do not have to be a tech expert to figure it out because it is very easy to use. I love the drag-and-drop interface, which makes signing documents a breeze.

Dropbox Sign has been very efficient for our usage, and our clients have really appreciated it. We have had no issues with them—so far, so good. I would rate Dropbox Sign a 9 overall.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Streamlined contract workflows have reduced errors and accelerated deal closures

  • February 07, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Dropbox Sign has been a great tool, and my user experience over three years has been excellent. It is one of the best e-signature platforms I have used that is very cost-effective, easy to set up, and easy to use. I have used it to send contracts for signature, which helps us speed up the time to close and also integrate with our CRM to track this activity in HubSpot. We find it useful to automate the process and improve efficiency in my organization.

A specific example of how I use Dropbox Sign for sending contracts is that we find it excellent for sending any type of contract for a business, whether it is a proposal for sales, an NDA, or many other document types. It helps to keep track of these items, not only in Dropbox but also in our CRM tool.

Dropbox Sign is very easy to use for my clients and also our team members. For e-signature and follow-up, I used it on a semi-weekly basis.

What is most valuable?

The best features Dropbox Sign offers include validated e-signatures, e-signed document verification, documents retrievable anytime, ease of use, and automation with CRM. It improves time to close and optimizes processes to increase efficiency.

The document verification feature has been seamless. It helps to verify if the document is signed, opened, or in the process.

Dropbox Sign helps to automate, especially with our CRM where it saves time and cost through automation and speeds up our processes of closing on documents and signed documents.

Since we started using Dropbox Sign, it has positively impacted our organization by providing faster time to signature. Time-saving and cost-saving are significant benefits, especially because our clients do not have to travel from their offices or their workplace to come into our offices to sign documents or vice versa. It also improves efficiency and reduces errors, especially because we encountered a lot of errors when we were dealing with signing documents manually, which was also time-wasting.

A specific metric I have noticed is that since we started using this tool, we have seen an increase in faster closing of deals and faster e-signed documents, from 40 to 60 percent.

What needs improvement?

For improvement, I wish Dropbox Sign had more complex integration, as more complex integration with HubSpot and other CRMs to deliver contracts from the CRM directly would be highly appreciated.

I do not think there is any other improvement needed because Dropbox Sign is very cost-effective. Any organization can afford it. The customer support is proactive and responsive 24/7. The support team has been really helpful, especially when you need them as quickly as possible. The interface has been also very user-friendly and easy to customize to fit my organization's needs or personal needs.

I do not think there is any other area for improvement that I have not mentioned.

Dropbox Sign is very stable. I have not encountered any lagging or downtime since we started using this tool.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Dropbox Sign, I evaluated other options, specifically DocuSign.

What other advice do I have?

Dropbox Sign is a game changer and a fast, convenient, and reliable e-signature and document management platform.

Dropbox Sign allows me to get important documents signed no matter where the client is, since they do not have to travel to come to our organization to sign the document. The process efficiency has really increased and the document can be signed anytime and anywhere. I also love the mobile app. My clients love it mostly because they can use it to sign documents whenever they are at home, on the go, or working remotely.
