Great for Business, Minor Issues
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to share large files with my team in a quick and easy way is helpful at a newspaper when we're going through multiple files and sorting them for the weeks ahead. It's simple to set up and use across different devices. It's used every day at the office and would be difficult to find a replacement.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is frustrating. It's basically a reddit type thread of Dropbox customers answering each others concerns. Dropbox employees do respond to the chats, but depending on the issue, they don't have access to your account to jump in and help you fix it. I've been having an issue for months now, where Dropbox won't let me delete certain folders. When I do delete them, they reappear automatically and immediately but as empty folders. When I try to delete them again, it gives me an error message saying it can't be deleted because something is in the folder, but there is nothing there. I had already done the troubleshooting before I came to the customer support, but the employees just had me do it over and told me they couldn't jump in to help. The employee couldn't jump in to watch what's happening, so I have to send screen recordings of what's happening. That's been difficult to find time to do, since I would have to disconnect all devices from Dropbox so that only once device is connected, so that they can see if it's my computer or the app.

Helping us share files across devices and keep them organized by run date.

What do you like best about the product?
Its easy to work collaboratively on a document within the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It makes you use the online version of word and excel which messes up the formatting when converting to PDF

sometimes the software stop escpicaly after an upgrade and that will make file syncing stop

I like the ease of use. The ease of integration and customer support. Im glad you can use a password.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has made my life easier in a number of ways. Dropbox allows for sharing secure files and using Dropbox Sign to get documents signed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no negative feedback with Dropbox. However, maybe Dropbox can partner with QuickBooks and create a integration as like a document collection platform for businesses and help streamline processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is a strong collaboration tool, especially for architects using Revit. It is easier for a sole practitioner than setting up a server. I typically use Google Drive, however in a recent collaboration with another architect - I've been utilizing Dropbox. The desktop version of Google Drive will sometimes "un-sync". Dropbox never has this problem.
What do you dislike about the product?
The disadvantage to Dropbox is the online interface. I like the desktop version and how it seamlessly integrates with my computer's folder structure. But the online website takes time to get used to.
There was also a recent incident with a shared folder. One person was able to move everything out of the project folder without the primary folder owner being notified. Thankfully all collaborators had backups of these files. But the notification of folders moving was inconsistent in this case and could have led to a lot of lost information.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an architect, I can share very large files with collaborators. It hosts Revit files well and I appreciate the ease of use compared to a shared server.
Great location to store files
What do you like best about the product?
I can have my security cameras send their video files here for free
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at all. All functionality is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have 3 security cameras and dropbox allows me to send my video files to it and save them or view them for free. I delete as needed. I can add storage of needed if I needed to save any there.

I only use the browser Dropbox because I don't know how to use the app on my computer
