Dropbox is a lifesaver as a small time artist!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it makes sharing and receiving files

The rising cost each year for the most basic plan

It solves the problems of sending files via emails and dealing with size restrictions and people working across multiple platforms
Reliable and Fast syncing, but Limited Third-Party Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox offers the fastest and most reliable syncing experience among all cloud storage services I've used. Unlike other services, which often claims to have synced files but still leaves me double-checking, Dropbox gives me confidence that my files are truly up-to-date across devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside is the limited integration with some third-part apps. For instance, I use Goodnotes 6, and while I want to set up automatic backups to Dropbox, the app frequently fails to stay logged in, requiring me to reconnect repeatedly. This makes the backup process less seamless than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Dropbox to sync research materials—including large datasets and coding files—in real time. It serves as my central workspace for managing data-heavy projects, and I access these files seamlessly across multiple devices. As someone who frequently switches between locations and devices, Dropbox eliminates the friction of managing files manually. It ensures continuity in my work, allowing me to pick up exactly where I left off—whether I’m on my desktop, laptop, or tablet. This flexibility is critical for maintaining productivity and momentum, especially when working with complex research data.

It is consistently the easiest and best way to share files

Figuring out which files are online only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

For the ease of workflow.
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of file sharing with clients and peers. Makes for ease of communication and streamlining workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is a downside is subscription base models. Though everyone would like it to be free i understand the means to provide a service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves the need to travel and locally share files when working on music, videos and or sharing important documents.

Being a photographer having a way to share files and raw images to others is a godsend! I don't know how I'd support my business otherwise

Nothing! It's perfect and I can't think of anything else that needs improvement

It keeps me connected and in synch with all of my files from anywhere and on any device.

Sometimes the features (e.g., watermarking) don't consistently work.

Great for Secure Client File Sharing
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to share files to and from our clients. I love the shared folder email notification.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to pay for additional licenses to use my account on multipal devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides us with a secure platform that our clients can trust for file sharing. Being able to access it from the cloud is great!
Easy Shared Storage
What do you like best about the product?
This platform allows sharing of data across multilocational teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer better folder organization.

This helps with working with off-site clients so they can easily share files with me.
