What do you like best about the product?
Easy file synchronization across devices
Strong third-party app integrations
Simple, clean interface
Reliable file recovery and version history
Good for collaboration and team projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited free storage (only 2GB on the Basic plan)

Dropbox Review by Music Composer & Producer

  • May 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to package things already uploaded for transfer to clients. I appreciate the reliable web interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had many struggles trying to figure out the best method to back up my external drive with dropbox. I've used the explicit back up feature, but it always gets stuck on the last few files. I've chatted with support, but have yet to figure this out. I just do a manual back up instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox provides me an easy way to upload material and distribute it to clients. I can keep track of versions, generate new transfer links for different people, etc. It's cheaper & more fully featured than something like wetransfer for my needs, since I can also use it for cloud storage.
