Drop Box Review

  • February 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can host a lot of media and send download files to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's UI kind of sucks. Hard to epxlain bu the files on the side bar are not fluid. When you're in a folder, the files that you're trying to look at are only on a small portion o fthe screen, when most of the screen is white space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending clients finished projects, makes it very easy to deliver large file sizes to clients remotely

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
As a teacher, I must share and collaborate on documents between colleagues in my department, across departments, and even outside of my own school and district. Dropbox not only makes it easy to file share documents between colleagues collaborating on a project, but it also stores files in one common place for easy access to the shared documents. I can access all of my files on all my devices from Dropbox, including my mobile devices! Dropbox has been a game-changer for collaboration among colleagues.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a pay wall that exists once you reach a specific storage capacity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows me to share and collaborate on a variety file types across the world with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to store and share files. I can send a link instead of the whole file which will inevitably be lost in email. The link works and permission granting keeps things secure. I've been using it for years
What do you dislike about the product?
The price. I really can't afford the 2TB, but it's still the best thing out there. I just wish it were more affordable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to share large files electronically. It's the best and most reliable solution out there.

Simple, Efficient, and Not Annoying

  • February 14, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's not in my face and it does its job well. The less I have to think about it, the better. It is user-friendly because it blends in with both Mac and Windows well. I have used other cloud drive software (Google Drive for Desktop and OneDrive from Microsof) and they're never as simple and efficient as Dropbox. Thus, I end up using Dropbox all the time for personal and work-related use.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, nothing. I have a free account, of which I got 4 extra GB of storage because way back in the day I had invited other people to use it, so I have 6GB, which is all I need because most of the work I do is related with small-sized files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me work easily from whichever device I'm on. It helps by not limiting me to a certain device. It saves a lot of time.
