Reliable Cloud Storage for Everyday Use

  • July 25, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Dropbox's user-friendly interface and seamless file synchronization across all my devices. Whether I'm on my laptop, phone, or tablet, my files are always up-to-date and accessible. This makes working on projects across different locations incredibly efficient. The automatic backup feature also gives me great peace of mind, knowing my important documents are safe from accidental deletion or device failure. Sharing files and folders with colleagues and friends is straightforward and intuitive, which is a major plus for collaboration. The version history feature has also saved me countless times when I needed to revert to an older document.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I generally like Dropbox, my main gripe is the limited free storage and the pricing for paid plans, which can feel a bit steep compared to some competitors offering more storage for less. I also occasionally experience slower sync times when dealing with very large folders or numerous small files, which can be frustrating during urgent tasks. The search functionality could be more robust, sometimes making it difficult to find specific files within a vast collection without precise file names. Lastly, I've noticed that sometimes file previews, especially for larger documents, can be glitchy on the web client or mobile app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
"Dropbox primarily solves my problems with file accessibility and data backup. Before Dropbox, my important documents and photos were scattered across various devices, making it a headache to find what I needed or work on files when I wasn't at my main computer. Dropbox now provides a centralized, easy-to-access hub for all my digital content, letting me pick up work seamlessly from my laptop, phone, or any web browser. This saves me significant time and frustration.

Furthermore, its automatic backup feature gives me immense peace of mind. I no longer worry about losing critical files due to a hard drive crash or accidental deletion, as I know everything is safely synced to the cloud and I can easily revert to previous versions if needed. It has truly simplified my digital life by making my files ubiquitous and secure."

Super helpful for spread out teams - sharing all types of documents

  • July 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that our team that is 100% remote is able to access files in real time rather than having to wait for emails to come through and then potentially sending different versions and losing time on a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are unable to edit word documents in real time - so collaboration isn't possible for word documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past when we would get updated creatives, we would have to wait until the email came through with the attachments. Now they appear in real time. Also if an updated version is created - that can replace the old version in dropbox so everyone is looking at the same most updated version.

a hassle free software to share documents

  • July 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Best part is, i can upload and access the documents even without my laptop, so i don't need to carry my laptop to access or share it, it's very easy to use, the overall layout and structuring of the options are appealing and easy to notice. Just need to share the link to everyone, so no need to attach the documents to the mail, no need to worry about the file size also.
What do you dislike about the product?
The payment is a little too much, and it's not affordable. we need to pay the amount monthly to access it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes, it's not easy to copy the files from a cellphone to a laptop. in that case, i used to email it, but the videos are too lengthy and size-consuming. But using the Dropbox, i just need to upload the file directly from my cellphone, and can access it on my laptop also. And it's helpful when i need to send the video for editing also, i can just upload and send the link to someone, And the main advantage is i can protect my video by putting a password.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dropbox is its ease of synchronizing files between different devices quickly and securely, as well as the option to share links with access control.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Dropbox is that the free space is quite limited for users who handle large files, and sometimes it consumes a lot of resources when synchronizing data, but Dropbox could improve by being more intuitive for new users and offering unlimited free storage with premium options for advanced features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes Dropbox consumes a lot of resources when syncing, but that ensures my files update quickly and are always available on all my devices without errors.

Seamless Sharing

  • July 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes file sharing easy and hassle-free. Its clean interface, smooth syncing across devices, and quick sharing options help you stay organized and collaborate effortlessly. Thanks to strong security and solid integration with other platforms, Dropbox remains a great choice for both individuals and teams looking for reliable cloud storage.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I don’t like about Dropbox is that the free storage is very limited. You run out of space quickly and have to upgrade to a paid plan, which can be expensive compared to other options. Some features, like Smart Sync or longer file recovery, are only available on the more expensive plans. Also, getting help from customer support isn’t always easy if you’re on the free version. While sharing and syncing work well, editing Office files with others isn’t as smooth as it is on Google Drive. Overall, Dropbox is useful, but it works best if you’re okay with paying for the extra features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me keep all my important files safe, organized, and easy to access from any device. It solves the problem of losing files by backing them up in the cloud, and it makes sharing with others really simple—no need for email attachments or USB drives. I also like that it keeps everything in sync across my phone, laptop, and tablet, so I always have the latest version. If I ever delete something by mistake, I can recover it easily. Overall, Dropbox saves me time, keeps my files safe, and makes work and sharing much easier.
