Things I like about Dropbox Sign

  • February 09, 2023
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very user friendly. So easy to navigate and find what I need. I have been a user for my company for a long while now. We have tried different Esign programs and this seems to be the company favorite.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do miss the editing feature on sent documents. We have the ability to duplicate and edit in that fashion but with the changes our customers may make it would be so much better to just be able to edit and not have to duplicate and resend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't really seen any problems that have affected my use in any way. Again the only thing I would like to see would be the edit feature. That would make my use much easier.

Dropbox sign helps with efficiency!

What do you like best about the product?
I used to have to obtain manual signatures on documents, or PDF email approvals and append them to documents. Dropbox Sign makes my life so much easier with a simple signature process, sending copies to all necessary parties, all with just a few steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is I wish it would integrate with my company's email, so I didn't have to type the email addresses in myself, but that is a minor inconvenience considering how much time it saves me overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, I either had to get wet signatures or PDF email approvals and append them to documents. Dropbox Sign simplifies that and is great overall solution for simple document signing.

An absolutely idiot-proof way to get your agreements signed.

What do you like best about the product?
What's most helpful about Dropbox Sign is that you create your agreement once, and your staff just plugs in the variables, like names, effective dates, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Droprox Sign is you can't change the variables once you 've sent the item out for signature. Sometimes we'll get a customer who wants to omit a middle name, or add an initial, and instead of fixing it, we have to scrap the whole thing and start over. It's no big deal, but if you're dealing with a customer who's already a pain, having to re-do their contract might make you grumpy for a min.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox Sign eliminated the need to meet in person to sign contracts, or mail one and wait for it to be mailed back. We can send out an agreement and get a signature almost immediately. We can then upload a PDF copy into our CRM for later reference. Also, the signed agreement is always available in your Dropbox Sign account.

It works

What do you like best about the product?
I like the color coding that's provided when there is more than one signer. It's also nice that signers are able to click the link emailed to them to get into the document directly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I absolutely can't stand the process of applying text fields and signature fields. About 95% of the time, I get one box placed, try to shift it slightly to better align the box, and then it pops right back to the first spot it was placed in. The same thing happens when I try to re-size the box as well. It's frustrating to have to close completely out of my browser several times just to resize or move a box.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are not solving any of my problems. The system does not really benefit me.

Effective, Intuitive Digital Signatures

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about DropBox sign is how quickly I can see through the execution of signing time-sensitive documents at all levels in my organization and how easy it is to add additional signers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of Dropbox sign is the inability to edit a PDF after upload but prior to signature. It would save me time if I could make minor adjustments when needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the challenge of getting legally binding signatures quickly, especially for those of us in recruiting and talent. I can get a candidate signed and preparing to be onboarded in under an hour.

What do you like best about the product?
I switched to Dropbox after getting limited signatures with a paid subscription to DocuSign. I was over charged and only could send so many signatures a month. Finding Dropbox was a cost efficient blessing to my company!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no dislikes. I'm very pleased with your services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to send as many contracts as I need to, for one french this saves me a lot of money every month.

Very happy I switched to HelloSign

What do you like best about the product?
I was a customer of a major competitor of HelloSign for years with my previous company. I switched over to HelloSign when I started a new company for the friendlier pricing and was apprehensive when I heard they were being rolled up into DropBox's suite of products. Thankfully, the product has remained excellent and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I really can complain about at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Signing important documents with a simple, intuitive UX for both myself and my partners.

Love the service

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox sign for all yearly documents for my clients. It has saved me headaches trying to get documentation returned and knowing what has not been signed. It makes my life easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish templates could be combined into one email to send without including every document in one pdf to make each template. I have certain documents I send to certain clients. I don't like making multiple templates with the same documents based on the services the client uses. If I send each document separately I have to send multiple emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have not noticed any differences between HelloSign and Dropbox sign for services I use. I am hoping for changes to the way templates are done and being able to include multiple templates in one email to the client.
