What do you like best about the product?
It is a great file sharing platform that allows for communal work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Options to integrate it with other programs I use as a writer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem is sending versions of projects and having a platform to have them all in an easily accessible place for the team

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox every day, as it allows me to easily manage my research projects and organize documents between my co-authors and research assistants. We also use Dropbox Paper a lot to communicate and share ideas. It is very intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, various users use the same file, and conflicting copies arise. A valuable feature is an alert that tells you if someone uses a file. These alerts appear in Word and other Office software but not in Tex (a Latex interface), Stata, and other software. It would be nice to add a general alert feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing and coordinating files across locations--office vs. home-- and between people--coauthors, research assistants, and myself.
Essential part of our workflow
What do you like best about the product?
We use dropbox to share file amongst our team members everyday. It is centralised, cross platform and easy to implement. We simply share nessecary folders with team members and voila! We have implemented 3rd party applications to synchronise dropbox with cloud backup on a weekly schedule and have not looked back!
What do you dislike about the product?
The plan that we use is a bit pricy, but worth every cent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everybody is on the same page when files are created and shared.
Dropbox is a relatively stable cloud storage provider

Its been around for ever, most people know how to use it. I've never lost a file becuase of dropbox

Over the years they've added many new features most of which I don't uses and are a cognative load when using dropbox

What do you like best about the product?
The easy access to transfer data from my mobile dropbox, and still get it instantly on my laptop's Dropbox. Also, it is really easy to use and the free space is a life saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truthfully, haven't found any dislike so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's access on android, windows and iOS. My mobile is android but I easily transfer from it and receive instantly on my apple laptop. It's timesaving.

Easy to login and to browse through my folders which have user friendly interface,
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of older pictures and videos I uploaded won't play on modern phones, have to convert them to JPEG using some other apps, I mean photos I uploaded back in 2016 thereabouts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It stores my very old files and I trust that Dropbox will still be there in next 50 years so my files will be accessible
Fantastic experience. Worth it. Handy. You can use anywhere you want and in any machine.

I love that Dropbox runs in the background, keeping my data safe. Everything I save on my computer is placed inside the Dropbox folder structure, which means instant backup.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have all my data inside the Dropbox folder structure. My data is backed up immediately upon saving and kept safe. Since I have three computers that all have Dropbox installed, I have instant access to my data no matter which computer I use.

having all files saved in a secure area and sharing between different computers

you have to be careful in syncing files, otherwise you end up with multiple version of the same work.

Wonderful for quick sync
What do you like best about the product?
I love to use Dropbox because of Sync setting. I am using Dropbox in my three devices, my office computer, my mobile and my personal PC. What is amazing is, quick sync even in the slow internet speed.

There is no big dislike about Dropbox but I feel 2GB space is a little less.
Another problem that I faced in my mobile dropbox app is, I am not able to share the fils on WhatsApp. I have to mail it many times (however, this problem is only limited to my device, I do not know other users are feeling the same issue or not.).

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Professor at University. I have to manage many academic and non-academic documents, images and files on my PC. Dropbox allows me to use all the files saved in the office PC at home in my personal PC. That is big relief for me because before this, I was using pendrive to take data at home which was uncomfortable for me.
