Capable Alternative To DocuSign and Google Drive
What do you like best about the product?
DropBox combines the best features of other tools in one place– external sharing, document collection points, fillable forms, signature requests and more. Customer support has been fast and knowledgeable when I have needed them and implementation for a small team (about 10 users) only took us a week from demo to actual use.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to send more than a few documents for signature each month, you must purchase DropBox Sign licenses. This dual license structure is confusing and seemly overly complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Google Drive, but find that external sharing can be a security risk because all of our company documents are stored in Drive. DropBox serves as a more intentional sharing tool with features that Drive does not offer (form building, sharing to emails without making documents public, etc).

I find it frustrating that when I try to upload something to Dropbox from my phone using the "share to Dropbox" option, it takes an extremely long time. If I'm in a hurry, I end up having to open the app directly and select the files there to upload them, which is inconvenient.

Reliable cloud storage I’ve trusted for years
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox has proven to be incredibly reliable, as I have never lost a file and everything syncs seamlessly across all my devices. The platform is very user-friendly—uploading, sharing, and organizing documents is straightforward, making it accessible even for those who aren't tech-savvy. I especially appreciate the cross-device access; being able to open files from my phone, tablet, or computer at any time has been invaluable during client meetings. The automatic syncing feature ensures that files are always up to date, which was crucial when collaborating on contracts with several people. Additionally, Dropbox integrates effortlessly with Gmail, Microsoft Office, and other tools I regularly use.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Storage limits on the free plan: It fills up quickly, especially with large PDF and photo files.
2. Pricing for upgrades: The paid versions are a bit expensive compared to other modern cloud solutions.
3. Limited built-in collaboration: Tools like Google Drive now offer better real-time editing features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’ve been using Dropbox since 2014, mainly for my real estate and mortgage files. It used to be an essential part of my daily workflow to store client documents, contracts, and property images.
Currently, I use the free version, since our brokerage now provides its own cloud storage system. But Dropbox remains one of the most reliable and user-friendly platforms I’ve ever used.
