Best part about Dropbox is that it shows up as a drive on my MacBook so I can save anything on my Dropbox desktop and access it anytime online

I don't use the other Dropbox features so sometimes I feel that I don't get the ROI for how much I pay per month

Reliable & easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox generally just works. There's minimal set-up; it's easy to omit folders that you don't want to back up, and quick and easy to sync. It also provides one of the best document scanning functions of any app I've used and scans can be immediately saved to your Dropbox with no hassle.
It's rare I've had to look up something or contact customer support, but support is great when needed, and the large user base also helps.
Dropbox is my go to backup and storage option for everyday use, working seamlessly across devices.
Dropbox also makes it very easy to share links to files to anyone, regardless of whether they have a Dropbox account, so it's a great option for sharing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Dropbox is no more expensive than most other alternatives (and certainly cheaper than Apple iCloud) but then it's still not super cheap and will only make sense if you use it constantly. The Family Plan (or whatever they now call it) doesn't make sense because you lose other functions, so picking the right plan needs care. If you're the only person using the account, they it works really well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox provides a seamless way to keep important files backed up and always available on any device. It's not too expensive and it is much easier to use than other commonly used alternatives.
Not for families
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and transparent on a desktop. Needs local sync on Android.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were using Dropbox as a means for the family to share documents ... But then Dropbox changed the rules right under our feet and made minimal age 16. My youngest daughter was 13 at the time. That made Dropbox useless for our family and we moved off to Microsoft cloud which is cheaper and gives us Office 365 at the same time...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It stopped providing solutions to my family when the minimum age became 16.
Been a dropbox client since the beginning!
What do you like best about the product?
Love it. Multiple Device Sync. Everything always available
What do you dislike about the product?
none that I can think of at all at this moment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
sync
Most convenient cloud service
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about dropbox is that they get updated in real time. In most other services, you need to download the files, work on them, and then upload them again. Working inside dropbox is super convenient, and I'm never worried about losing the day's progress due to an unexpected system crash.
What do you dislike about the product?
The 2GB storage is a bit on the lower side, but the next level of 2TB is a bit too high. Something in between would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love being able to access up to date files from my work vs home computer. Sometimes I just need to do a small amount of work which I can easily complete from home without having to come in to the office
The Ultimate Cloud Storage Solution for Seamless Collaboration and File Management
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox performs reliably, with minimal downtime and efficient file syncing. The speed of uploads and downloads is impressive, making it suitable for handling large files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Storage Limits: Even the paid plans have storage limits that might not be sufficient for users with extensive storage needs, especially those dealing with large media files or extensive data backups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox ensures that your files are accessible from anywhere, on any device. This means you can start a project on your desktop at work, continue it on your phone during your commute, and finish it on your laptop at home.
Secure, hassle-free storage and collab tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that Dropbox incorporates seamlessly to your file explorer, it's quite simply like a common folder, but it's constantly backed up. It's also a great use for collaboration. and it's easily integrated with other apps. Accesibility anywhere in the world both on Online and Offline mode works like a charm. I have been using the service since day one and I imagine I will continue to trust Dropbox in the years to come.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sync function is sometimes slow, so I occasionally have to struggle a bit to get my files synced in all my devices.
Sync can also be a bit of a headache: I recently collaborated on a project with people from all over the world, where the author asked us to upload the content to the main folder. Sadly what everyone added was synced to my folder and it took much of my available space. I wish there was a way to sync only some contents of a folder.
