Automatic Backups Are Great, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I love the auto backups when connected to our computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any complaints, for Dropbox. If anything it's a little expensive, as that cost ads up wuick with the users and the storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the ability for our designers to always have their design they are working on always available and backed up. This way if needed another person can pick right up where they left off.

Its universal and also has security features of File encryption and TFA which helps me not worry about the data shared using Dropbox. I love that files gets synced across my devices. I use it very often for my professional and personal use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version offers only 2GB of storage, which is quite limited. For my small organization, the business plan can be expensive, and I have also noticed that syncing large files sometimes takes a long time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it helps me solve myfiles scattered across the devices, also the high risk of losing files due to hardware collapse is omitted if i have those files securely saved on dropbox. And Dropbox cloud based access offline sync helps me resolve remote team work these days

Seamless Sync and Effortless Collaboration Across All Devices
What do you like best about the product?
I like best the incredibly high Ease of Use and seamless Ease of Integration with desktop operating systems. The software is simple to install (Ease of Implementation) and immediately feels like a natural extension of my local file structure, which drastically increases my Frequency of Use. It is completely reliable for file synchronization across my work and personal computers, and the selective sync feature is fantastic for managing local storage. The platform's core file sharing and recovery Features are polished and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the service is excellent, there are two main drawbacks. First, the Number of Features in the Standard/Pro tiers feels slightly limited compared to competitors offering more collaborative tools (like real-time document editing) for a similar price point. Second, while I rarely need it due to the product's stability, Customer Support access can sometimes be slow for non-Enterprise users, often relying first on an extensive knowledge base before connecting with a person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox primarily solves three major problems for me: data fragmentation, data loss, and inefficient file sharing.
Data Fragmentation: Before Dropbox, my files were scattered across my desktop, laptop, and an external hard drive. Dropbox created one centralized, cloud-based source of truth.
Benefit: This guarantees I always have the most current version of any file, accessible instantly from any device. It's the ultimate solution for mobility and cross-platform work.
Data Loss & Recovery: Local hardware failures were a constant risk.
Benefit: Dropbox provides automatic, continuous backup and an excellent version history (File Rewind), giving me absolute peace of mind. I can easily recover files deleted accidentally or revert to a previous state, protecting my critical work.
Inefficient Sharing: Sending large attachments via email was cumbersome and often failed.
Benefit: I can share large projects, media, or compressed files simply by sending a secure link. This streamlines collaboration with clients and colleagues, making the entire process faster and more professional.

Great Features and Usability, But Pricey with Limited Free Storage
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to work offline, lots of integrations and ability to configure lots of features (expiring links, passworded documents...) Plus the UX is easy to use and has a very smooth learning curve. Used it quite frequently
What do you dislike about the product?
It is quite expensive when compared to other solutions, and the free package allows for very little space. Searching capabilities are quite limited to (not entering into the detail of files - not great OCR)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to work collaboratively and saving files a secure environment
Intuitive and Seamless, But Free Plan and Speed Have Limits
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Dropbox is how simple and intuitive it is to use. Uploading and sharing files takes just a few clicks, and the interface is super clean. It integrates nicely with tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, so I can move files around without leaving the app. Setting it up on new devices is quick, and syncing between them is seamless. It’s something I end up using almost every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Dropbox is that some of the more advanced features are only available in paid plans. The free storage space fills up fast, and syncing large folders can slow things down sometimes. Integration with some third-party tools could be smoother, and the desktop app can occasionally feel heavy on older systems. Customer support is decent, but I wish response times were a bit faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solves my biggest problem — keeping files organized and accessible across multiple devices. It’s super easy to implement in any workflow, and I can instantly share documents with teammates or clients. The automatic syncing means I don’t lose progress, and version history has saved me more than once. Integration with other software like Adobe and Office makes collaboration effortless.
Absolutely Love This Software!
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Dropbox is how seamlessly it functions. Its simplicity and reliability mean I never have to spend time figuring things out. My files remain synchronized across all my devices, and sharing links with colleagues or external partners is always straightforward and fast. The version history feature has rescued us several times when a document was mistakenly deleted or overwritten. Overall, Dropbox is one of those tools that works efficiently in the background, never interfering with my workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
When handling large folders or collaborating with many shared users, syncing can become slow or even stall, which can be quite frustrating. As you add more files, storage usage increases, and costs can rise quickly, especially for larger teams. The customization options are more limited than with some other storage solutions, and there can be confusion if several people rename or move files at the same time. Customer support is decent, but it’s not always easy to reach a live representative; most assistance comes from online resources. However, once everything is set up, you rarely need to contact support, as the service generally runs smoothly on a daily basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox has made it much easier for us to keep all our shared documents organized and accessible in a single location. Previously, our files were scattered across various computers, buried in email attachments, or stored on old drives, which made managing different versions extremely difficult. Now, everyone can work from the same, most current files, with changes syncing automatically. Collaboration has also become much simpler. Instead of sending large files back and forth via email, we just share a link, giving everyone immediate access. The version history feature has been a lifesaver more than once, especially when someone accidentally deletes or overwrites something. All in all, Dropbox helps our team stay coordinated, minimizes confusion, and saves us considerable time searching for the correct version of a file.
Effortless Collaboration and Fast Sync, Though Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Files sync rapidly across all my devices, so I never have to worry about version mismatches or losing important information. The shared folders and links make collaborating on projects with people outside my organization very straightforward. I also appreciate the integration with Google Docs and Microsoft Office, which is a significant advantage. Its reliable, simple and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit on the higher side and large file take a while to sync occasionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool addresses the issue of having documents spread out in different places. It ensures that everyone can collaborate on the most up-to-date file, regardless of their location. Additionally, it makes sharing files with clients a seamless process.
Effortless File Management and Sharing Across Devices
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes managing and sharing files really smooth. I use it to organize documents across my devices and easily share them with colleagues or clients without worrying about file size or format.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's just when the internet fluctuates a little, it affects the upload speed which I know is normal but pretty much it's all good. I use it mainly for uploading and sharing files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox helps me keep all our sales materials, exhibitor proposals, and event assets organized in one place, so I don’t waste time searching through different folders or emails. It’s especially useful when sharing large files like floor plans or marketing collateral with clients and partners.
