What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is easy to use and access. I love the desktop application as I'm able to access from multiple locations. My overseas team member has ease of access for the video editing work he does for me. Our photographer can easily share the large property photos and video files. It's an essential piece of our business in makketing!
What do you dislike about the product?
Somestimes I have to re-download the desktop app to synch the files. Not sure if there's a better way to refresh and automatically get the new files updated on desktop?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of access by multiple users. Sharing large files. Storage of stock images and b-roll videos for future use.

What do you dislike about the product?
The storage space is limited and not useful for photo storage at lower prices. I get it, but it's just a negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far, just knowing I can access my project from anywhere and no matter what happens to my gear.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox enables me to share files quickly, easily and simply, which is an essential part of publishing graphic novels. I simply couldn't live without this service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Over the many years I have used Dropbox I haven't had a single problem with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In publishing graphic novels it's important for creators to be able to share their artwork with me quickly and easily, and sharing content within the organisation is also essential. It's also handy to be able to supply reviewers with links to download review PDFs of our books.

Easy to use and reliable

  • March 17, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Quick syncing, reliable service (haven't experienced downtime or anything similar wrt accessing Dropbox's servers)
What do you dislike about the product?
When traveling with shakier device connections, I've found that sometimes uploaded files or files saved directly to Dropbox may not actually save. I've lost a couple of important work files this way and learned to save to local storage and then copy it to Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can easily share files with clients without long ugly links, and can limit their access to the file (i.e. view vs edit)
