Dropbox is a time saver!!!

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is most helpful for storing files conveniently. Lately I’ve been trying to get more organized and having files in a bunch of different folders in a bunch of different places has been overwhelming. Which is why I like using dropbox because it saves me a lot of space on my devices which saves money so I don’t have to keep paying a ton for apple storage on multiple devices every month. But it also makes accessing things so easy. My favorite feature about dropbox is a scanning tool. I personally like handwriting things and I’m able to scan it and it’ll put in a PDF form for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish dropbox had a free option. Because I don’t use a whole lot of storage in the app. So I think if they had a free option with limited storage, this will be better for users like me. They do offer a 30 day trial. But not a permanent free option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is solving the problem of eliminating using a lot of different platforms to store files and items I can store all in one place.

Dropbox Rocks! Effortless syncing and Sharing made simple

  • October 04, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox makes file management very simple and reliable. The best thing for me is the seamless syncing across the devices. I can start working on a document on my laptop and pick up right where i left off on my phone without any hassle. The sharing feature is a huge impressive feature. sending large files to colleagues or friends is quick and secure and i don't have to think about email attachment limits. I also appreciate the clean, user friendly interface, easy to navigate even for someone who isn't super tech savvy. It just works and that reliability is what i value the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
The selective sync feature isn't as intuitive as i would like, it took me a while to figure out how to keep my laptop from filling up with files i dont need locally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Last month, i was traveling and got an urgent request to update a presentation for a client. I didn't have my laptop, but thanks to Dropbox, I opened the file on my phone and made quick edits and shared the updated link instantly. No stress, No delays. It honestly saved my day.

Excellent choice for storage and file application

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Dropbox for me is that I can use the system to store and use files and pictures that would otherwise leave your device with no memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I would change about Dropbox is the cost of plans for storage. If it were a little less then I can say without question that it’s my number one rated storage platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is helping to curve memory and storage issues in crunches.

Decent File share

  • October 03, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I started using Drop box when shortly after it first came out, and it's a decent file share program. I started with the free version for personal use but upgraded to the paid and used it to pass complex Adobe Illustrator .AI and .TIFF files In those days I was a professional illustrator and I used it multiple times each week to share created images with my publishing employers. Most of the publishers I worked with had their own professional accounts set up an it was very easy to set up my folder to share the files across multiple entities. I love how easy it was to start up and appreciated the support function when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem was the file size limitation, even using the pro/paid version would still limit me on the files I could upload. Some of the art files were massive for the time, and shortcuts in the other applications would have to be made in order for my publishing employers to receive these files. Keep in mind these images were used to produce income at various media outlets and formats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox solved one and only one problem for me- getting large files to my publisher.
