Given its usefulness and reliability, I would definitely consider purchasing it again.

User-Friendly, but not without frustrations

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a visitor to another organization's Dropbox environment, I was limited to 2GB, which was not clear as a new Dropbox user. This severely impacted my ability to collaborate and share files with the organization and ultimately needed to use another tool. The number of "you're out of space!" emails from Dropbox is obnoxious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being in the design space, I need to send large files to/from clients and vendors. Dropbox is one of several tools that does this.

Effective File Sharing with Minor Syncing Hiccups

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate Dropbox for allowing me to manage large files and easily share them while collaborating with others. The ability to download documents and organize them into multiple folders is particularly useful for managing a large volume of documents, as well as various media types like audio, video, and pictures. Dropbox's simplicity, accurate billing, and functionality across multiple platforms make it a standout choice for file sharing, as it isn't restricted to specific device types like Mac. This cross-platform compatibility makes it seamless and easy to work with others in different environments, enhancing collaboration significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging to ensure everything is synced correctly across multiple devices with Dropbox. Managing different files between Dropbox and what's stored on my actual computer can sometimes be difficult, affecting how smoothly files stay updated and organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox enables me to share large files and collaborate with others seamlessly, offering organization across multiple devices with simplicity and cross-platform compatibility.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Dropbox for about five years for my scientific research, and I find it incredibly valuable. One of the things I love about Dropbox is how straightforward it was to set up. This ease of setup made the transition smooth, and I didn't have to consider or switch from another vendor. Its ability to allow me to share files with my colleagues efficiently is a significant benefit, as it facilitates seamless collaboration in my field of work. Additionally, I appreciate the feature that notifies me of updates whenever someone uploads a file or changes a file version, as this keeps me always informed and up-to-date with ongoing projects. Given that I use it all the time, Dropbox has become an integral part of my routine, and I have no hesitation to continue using it. I am also pleased with its integration potential, as I use it alongside LaTeX, enhancing my productivity further. Lastly, my positive experience with Dropbox is such that I would confidently rate it a perfect ten and recommend it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
