What do you dislike about the product?
When I last changed jobs, I did a selective sync so that not everything was on my new work-owned laptop. What I didn't realize is that somehow I had only selective saved some of my files. I lost years of material that I thought was safe. I could recover some of it, but the way it disrupted my storage structure still impacts my work. This might have been improved, but I wasn't a new user to dropbox and, years later, am still upset about the loss.
I also find it ridiculously hard to share files and folders with other users. I should not have to pay for a family account to share a relatively small amount of files in a common space with my partner. Shared google drive folders are exceptionally more functional and user-friendly.

Dropbox: Wonderful Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that Dropbox tends to be Operating System agnostic and has worked well on machines I own that have run Mint Linux, Ubuntu Linux, Windows, iOS, Android and MacOS. It works really well with our Calibre library that houses the books that we use on the farm.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major drawback is the necessity of an internet connection to use files, but this is obvious because it is off-site storage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox keeps me from having to have an external harddrive onhand all the time to access our SOP documents that we use on the farm, and allows me to not have to store each document on my mobile.
Dropbox is Amazing...the only thing that could improve is syncing issues
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Dropbox because it keeps my important files with me at all times. I can use it to keep everything online without using space on my computer, sync with my computer and have everything on my phone. Having my files at my fingertips is amazing. Plus, I can store all types of files (Excel, word, photos, videos, etc.). It is nice not to be limited.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have found with Dropbox is that there can be issues with timly sycining on my computer. I have auto sync turned on but it doesn't always do it. However, knowing that this is an issue, I can simply force sync and the issue is solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration, access are easier
