Excellent Online Filing. Great for Small Business Filing

  • March 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to edit saved items to pdf. Ability to edit pdfs. The phone app is so easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to be able to save a page separately from a pdf. The option to delete a page is nice. But if a client scans several reciepts or docs in one pdf, I need to separate them into different pdf files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is an easy to use filing system for my small business owners.

What do you like best about the product?
Its super easy to dump my files into Dropbox and send them off in an email, text message, DM, or whatever other method I need to use to communicate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I personally don't find many issues with dropbox -- however maybe it would be nice to be able to change the viewing permissions of certain links!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The nightmare of using Soundcloud or Wetransfer to send music and MP3s through the internet. Saves me a ton of time.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dropbox for sharing all kinds of files for various jobs with clients and employers a lot of these files are enormous, or are large, complex datasets. I love knowing if people collaborating on a folder are updating and working on things. It's also been very handy to use as additional backup of important files from my home computer!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were a bit easier to navigate and search for files. But overall I like this service and find it affordable and reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the need for sharing big datasets and files with people I'm working with. Makes it much easier.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is my go-to for any file sharing. It's simply easy to use, easy to navigate, easy to upload and easy to share. I'm sure there are features I'm not using, but it makes it easy to upload and share content with designers, save documents I've downloaded and search it all via the search bar. There isn't a learning curve and I use it multiple times a week!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a photographer and wish I could do unlimited storage for photos, but haven't quite figured out if Dropbox is the best fit for that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to share files with clients and contractors, universally easy and user friendly

A great tool

What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is a simple and user-friendly storage tool. I've been using it for years and have never had any problems with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile version is too heavy, and since it mirrors the files, you have to constantly manage your PC versus cloud files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
File storage. I feel safe keeping my files there.

Dropbox: Elevating Productivity and Collaboration to New Heights!

  • March 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Let's chat about Dropbox! It's become a super familiar name for anyone who stores stuff online, and for good reason. It's just so darn easy to use. Uploading files, organizing them, sharing them with friends – it's all a breeze, no matter if you're a tech wiz or just getting started.

One of the coolest things about Dropbox is that it works on pretty much any device you can think of. Windows PC? Mac? Even that old Linux laptop in the corner? Yep, Dropbox will sync your files across them all. That means you can be working on a document on your computer at home and then pick it right back up on your phone when you're on the go. Super convenient!

Speaking of working together, Dropbox makes collaborating on projects with other people a snap. You can share folders with your team, edit things in real-time (which means everyone can see the changes as they happen!), and even leave comments to give feedback. No more emailing files back and forth a million times – Dropbox keeps everything organized and in one place.

And let's say you accidentally hit delete on that super important document? No worries! Dropbox keeps track of older versions of your files, so you can easily restore it. It's like having a built-in safety net for your data.

Security is a big deal when it comes to storing your stuff online, and Dropbox takes it seriously. They use strong encryption to keep your files safe, both when they're traveling between your devices and when they're stored on Dropbox's servers. Plus, you can add two-factor authentication for an extra layer of protection, and control exactly who can see your files.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now, Dropbox isn't perfect. The free plan doesn't give you a ton of storage space, which can be a bummer if you have a lot of files. The paid plans are great for businesses and people who need a lot of space, but they can be a bit pricier than some other options out there.

Also, while you can mark some files for offline access on your phone or tablet, it's not quite as seamless as with some other cloud storage services. This could be a pain if you're traveling somewhere with spotty internet.

customer support isn't great

Overall, Dropbox is still a top choice for cloud storage. It's super easy to use, it's great for working with others, and your files are always secure. While there are a few areas for improvement, Dropbox is constantly evolving to meet the needs of its users. So, whether you're a freelancer, a small business owner, or a giant corporation, Dropbox can be a great way to manage and share all your digital stuff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to backup my music and important information and I don't have to think about it plus it saves space
