The only backup / cloud solution that always works and never gets in the way
What do you like best about the product?
I have used dropbox for over fifteen years, mostly for personal use. It's the first thing I install on any new machine I set up, and it always works flawlessly in the background regardless of anything else I'm doing. It's the easiest, most mindless form of cloud sync and backup you could ask for, way better than any corporate-mandated backup system, and eons better than competing products like BOX. I've never had issues with the service going down, files getting corrupted or lost, or any other major detractions that somehow affected me negatively. In addition, the ability to recover deleted files has saved me many times over the years. I'm also happy that they have support across a number of different types of systems (desktop, mobile, iOS/Android, Windows/macOS/linux). The few times I've contacted support, they've been quick to respond and seem genuinely interested in solving issues or taking feedback from users. Admittedly I don't use any of the collaboration or document signing features, in favor of competing products that I'm asked to use for work or personal business, but I may find a use for them in the future. Sharing files with others via a shared link in a majorly useful feature that saves me from having to put personal documents on public services. Finally, I prefer paying for a service like Dropbox versus using free alternatives, such as Google Drive, because I trust that Dropbox cares about my privacy and isn't out to profit off of my data in any way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The web interface still feels very basic despite years of development. Further, the desktop interface (e.g. the menu dropdown in macOS) always seems to change every so often in ways that break the "comfort factor" of using a known system. Sometimes it's OK just to leave things alone if they work fine. Finally, I miss the "public" directory wherein all files were shared by default -- I get the issues in supporting something like this, but would be happy if paid customers could still have this as an option, perhaps with more limited features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me from having to use awful, resource-heavy backup programs on computers, allows me to share files easily, syncs all of my files across a large variety of devices, and offers peace of mind in a way where I can simply "set it and forget it."
Great cloud service

I still haven't figured out how to teach someone else to sign in to a shared Dropbox account
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox makes it possible for our organization's team to share documents without having to make hard copies. It also gives us a safe place to store documents with easy access for new members to our team.
Best Online filing system!
What do you like best about the product?
I can access my files securely from anywhere - just log in! it syncs effortlessly with my other associated computers - so input one file on one computer, and the rest are updated as well! Used weekly or sometimes daily, I find it a valuable tool. Easy to use, easy to find your files if you label them appropriately too!
What do you dislike about the product?
I havent found anything yet - wish there was no charge for 2 T storage though!

Storage of files as required by the Real Estate Agency. Files must be kept for 6 years.
Only viable option for dispersed Board of an association
What do you like best about the product?

If I don't have the link to our files readily at hand it can be hard to find our stuff
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a dispersed committee who come together virtually once a month and we need access to the same files
Useful, but . . .
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to access Dropbox from any device I use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sharing a file is done by sharing a link and not transmitting the actual file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox is allowing my spouse and I to share documents pertaining to our children and our foster parent license.
High Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
I find Dropbox indispensible is sharing large (and small) files to indivduals and groups. I use it for music and video projects. The upload/download speeds are now excellent and virtually transparent. I also enjoy being able to access my media on Dropbox through my phone for listening while away from the studio. I use it every day. In the current version it's simple and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the ownership of a folder, etc. can be problematic -- it can be fixed through copying, etc. but that's no fun.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving large media files for assessment, development, etc. Sharing relevant documents.
Been Using for Years!
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is super easy to use. It saves me so much time finding files from years before just by using a keyword.
What do you dislike about the product?
I seriously have no complaints. I wish there was a some way to dropbox my entire life. Haha
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I had to share large documents with fellow co-workers or an accounting firm. It makes it so easy and safe to share larger documents than having to email them, which could take up to hours to transfer.
