Accessibility, ease of use and freedom.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the freedom I get from using Dropbox. I can be anywhere and access all my files and documents. The sharing ability makes it easy while I'm on the move to pass over documents and contribute to working files from my phone, iPad, laptop etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The architecture of accessing files and use ability of the journey from entry to final task could have new and innovative ways to find files and access information. Search feature is not very reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication and access to documents
Pretty good experience
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to give people access to a folder and all they need to do is sign in with a google account to view it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that people don't always know what to do when I send folders to them. I really wish more folks had and used Dropbox.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending large graphic files
I am very satisfied with dropbox and highly reccommend.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to update docs in real time for others to help with is extremely valuable. It is easy to implement and easy to use. I have never even had to call customer support for anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any downsides to the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows collaberation and it allows adjustment to be made from several locations. This allows the documents to be updated on each station as changes are made.
Useful and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
It's easier to use than one drive or google drive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs a view that will allow you to cull through files you don't need anymore.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a way to move files around that's quick and easy.
Very pleasant experience using dropbox
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the best is i can store files in a server without any issues and i can use the platform to send large files by simply giving them the link, its very easy to use also
What do you dislike about the product?
Some issues i have include some of the systems not being free and some people have access issues that prevent them from downloading the files
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving manual file sharing and email attachments which is more dangerous for security reasons and solving the restrictions of file size
Seamless integration
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox is as intuitive to use as my normal operating system. New features like Dropbox Capture and Dropbox Sign add more useful functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a more robust sharing option, wherin nested folders could be shared with users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox enables me to seamlessly share business documents with teammates, clients, and stakeholders.
I have been using Dropbox for years, here's my thoughts.
What do you like best about the product?
Dropbox allows me to share a complex database that we use to create BIM models. Dropbox also allows us to share and collaborate on our projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cloud sync option to make files available online only, in order to shave local disc space, is good for some situations, but not helpful on databases that have large folder structures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropbox allows us to share our projects and the Database we use to populate our projects.
Great when it works!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can safely and securely store documents and files on a cloud based service to free up space on my computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to know if your files are entirely cloud based or if they're in Dropbox AND still on your computer. I think it should be easier to move them from one or the other vs having to 'make' files offline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We travel a lot for work. Files can be accessed from anywhere and when it comes to working on projects on the go, I'm confident I can retrieve those files when I'm not at my home computer.
Dropbox File share for the win!
What do you like best about the product?
What's most using dropbox is the ease of transferring large files that I cannot send via email to colleagues and coworkers. I really enjoy the ability to work across platforms as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I really don't like about dropbox is that I have storage limits other than that this great platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Box is solving the problem of sharing files that are too large to share via email and a secure and safe easy manner.
Best Cloud Service
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can seemlessly synchronize files accross multiple devices and retain cloud backups at the same time. It doesn't require a Microsoft Account, I can pick any folder to use, I can select which folder to keep local. The cost for the storage and feaures is very resonable. One of the features I like best is taking photos with my phone and then having them on my PC so that I can write reports without even having to think about it. This is one of those technologies that is almost transparent and works so well that it just becomes a normal part of everyday life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since they fixed all of the things I previously disliked all I can come up with for dislikes is it would be nice if I could select multiple foders to upload to dropbox, instead of having one drop box folder on my PC. I wish it could keep Apple live photos in a native format, but maybe it does that not too, I don't know. Also, I guess another bad thing is that now I'm totally dependent on it. Since everything is in the cloud and accessible from everywhere via my phone and since I can just log in from any PC with a web browser I'm too spoiled and can never go back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can share files and espeically useful for very large files that would be otherwise impossible for me to share without investing in another product or service.
