Digital signing has transformed document workflows and saves time across HR, sales, and legal teams

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

Dropbox Sign is used to streamline HR processes as well as sales and contract signing, real estate and leasing signing, finance signing, and education and legal document signing. These are the areas where I have used Dropbox Sign.

For sales and contract purposes, when a customer signs and wants sale agreements or lease agreements, I prepare Dropbox documents and store them in Dropbox, then share the link to the customer. The customer opens the link and signs the Dropbox document that has been shared, and the signing process is purely digital, which reduces the margin of error to zero.

I have also used Dropbox Sign for signing offer letters for recruited candidates. The recruited candidate can directly open the link that was shared via email and complete the signing of all documents that are mandatorily required where a signature is needed. Education and legal documents are major areas where e-signing is required, and I use Dropbox Sign for capturing signatures from users.

What is most valuable?

Dropbox Sign offers automation, which is one of the best features, as well as being device friendly and providing secure features. It can also be integrated with different platforms.

Dropbox Sign creates templates for frequently used documents such as offer letters, sale deeds, or leasing agreements. In the initial stage, I upload the document, and when I do it for the second time, it automatically keeps a copy of the document and creates a template of the frequently used documents, which reduces repetitive work and saves time.

Being device friendly is another valuable feature. It can be opened and works on any device including mobile, laptop, tablet, or anything else. Another feature is that it captures the audit trails where I can check the details for auditing purposes and verify whether it meets compliance requirements.

These features have gradually reduced manual intervention. Documents can be opened on any device and templates of frequently used documents are created, which definitely minimizes repetitive work and saves considerable time. Since documents are saved and shared over email or a link, users do not need to take printouts. They can directly open the link and complete the signing process on their device, which gradually reduces the time required.

What needs improvement?

Dropbox Sign could be improved by integrating with AI, which would summarize the document and provide a brief description of the overall summary so that users do not need to go through the complete document. This is one feature that needs to be improved in Dropbox Sign.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dropbox Sign for the past four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign is very stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign is highly scalable.

How are customer service and support?

The customer service is pretty good.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I did use DocuSign and Adobe Sign earlier. The reason I switched to Dropbox Sign is because of the features that Dropbox provides.

How was the initial setup?

The pricing and licensing cost are as per the market standards. The setup cost is high initially because it needs to be integrated with different products or software where automation or customization needs to be done. That is the reason why the setup cost is high initially, and over time the setup cost minimizes and does not require anything further.

What about the implementation team?

I did not require an implementation team.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment upon using Dropbox Sign. Regarding the metrics, I have saved both money and time. The user can open and click on the link that is shared over their email or the point that is being shared to the user and open the link on any device to complete the signing process wherever the point is shown. Regarding money saved, this gradually reduces the paperwork, manual taking of printouts, the signing process, and couriering the documents. All of this process gets reduced, which reduces paper cost.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I did evaluate Adobe Sign, but based on the licensing and pricing cost, I chose Dropbox Sign over Adobe Sign.

What other advice do I have?

There are many competitive products in the market. After evaluation, I can say that no product can score a complete 10. It has minor limitations, and that is the reason why I chose nine over 10. Customers who are considering this product should definitely get it, as I can assure you will have a good experience with the product. I have rated this product 9 out of 10.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Private Cloud

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Digital workflows have transformed hiring and client contracts and save time across our teams

  • February 11, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Dropbox Sign is its ease of use within our company as well as with our clients that we service. It has allowed me to get documents to our staff and potential clients quickly without issue. It is simple to use and has minimal difficulty even for those who are not electronically savvy. It has cut down the time to get items completed, and it is nice to be able to send reminders to our clients to sign documents.

I use Dropbox Sign for internal contracts such as those with employees, NDAs, and many others, as well as contracts for our clients and talent we collaborate with on a regular basis. Our HR team and marketing team use it the most, and we have found that Dropbox Sign is the easiest way to organize all documents and users in one central location.

Dropbox Sign works best for sending out pre-made documents or contracts that need a binding signature. It also works well for storing templates of documents that need to be used more than once and saving time through reusing the templates. Dropbox Sign ensures that clients and team members collaborate even in remote areas or on the go, using features like the robust and intuitive mobile app.

What is most valuable?

Some of the best features that Dropbox Sign offers include ease of use, integration with other platforms, and cost-effectiveness.

I can tell you more about the integration with other platforms, as we seamlessly integrated with Google Drive and Salesforce. It stands out as a highly valued integration feature. It streamlines document management processes and ensures contracts are securely received without any hassle. It is a very cost-effective tool, providing excellent value for money. Not only does it accelerate contract processing, but it also enhances security measures while effectively reducing transaction costs.

I find it very easy to use, with a straightforward and intuitive user interface. I love how easy it is to add dates, names, and text into documents, thereby enhancing our overall workflow efficiency.

Dropbox Sign has positively impacted my organization by providing a central storage point for all employee onboarding records where it is easy to access and search for them. It improves efficiency in collecting and completing onboarding documents and also improves efficiency in the timeline and ease of use for clients' contracts. We have seen a faster time to contract signature compared to our previous solution, which was DocuSign, achieving a 50% faster contract signature. We have also experienced an easy employee onboarding process and significant time savings.

Reminders are sent automatically, but we do not know how many times reminders are sent.

What needs improvement?

Dropbox Sign sometimes sends documents to the spam folder. Some types of templates are only available within more expensive plans, and I wish invoices were sent to email.

I also wish there were integration with our ATS Personio.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dropbox Sign for the past five years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign is very stable, as I have not experienced any lagging or sluggishness.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Dropbox Sign's scalability is very good as we are able to handle all the documents, store them, retrieve them, send them to our clients, and have them sent back efficiently.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support for Dropbox Sign is great, very unparalleled, supportive, and proactive.

I would rate the customer support a nine out of ten because they are very responsive and solution-oriented. In case we have any problems, they are quick to respond and provide a solution.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used DocuSign as a different solution.

I switched from DocuSign to Dropbox Sign because Dropbox Sign is fast, time-saving, and practical.

How was the initial setup?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been great and cost-effective.

What about the implementation team?

I purchased Dropbox Sign through the AWS marketplace.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment, with faster time in concluding an offer and a reduction in paper, as electronic copies follow the audit trail and are officially accepted by the administrations. We have reduced the delay and saved time for our clients and employees because they do not need to move from one office to another to sign the document, while also providing efficient security for our documents.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing has been great and cost-effective.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Dropbox Sign, I evaluated Salesforce as another option.

What other advice do I have?

I would rate Dropbox Sign a nine out of ten.

I chose that number because this tool has allowed us to work completely digitally and has saved a lot of work for us since we implemented it in 2019. At the same time, it represents the best improvement to our workflow for the whole year. It also makes it easier for us to send documents to our customers easily, providing a professional experience while saving significant time for both our customers and employees.

My advice to others looking into using Dropbox Sign is that it is fast, time-saving, and practical. Dropbox Sign makes it very efficient and seamless to send documents to clients. It is quick and fast, very secure, and you will save time and costs. Therefore, it is highly recommendable.

I appreciate how digital signatures are done quickly nowadays while saving time, and I greatly appreciate Dropbox Sign. My overall rating for Dropbox Sign is nine out of ten.

Digital signatures have transformed contract workflows and now save us time and paper daily

  • February 10, 2026
  • Review from a verified AWS customer

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Dropbox Sign is that it has made my life very easy. I used Dropbox Sign to make getting contracts signed so much easier. We purchased Dropbox Sign to be able to send clients digital contracts and capture their signatures. Previously, they had to print, sign, and scan and send it back to me. I often did not get fully executed contracts. Now that I use Dropbox Sign, I simply pull up the Google Doc, use the Dropbox Sign extension to send it to the client. They sign easily and return, and I sign and send a final contract to them. Dropbox Sign keeps copies of all my fully executed contracts by date, but I can also download and store them myself in my own clients' files. It is safe, secure, affordable, and easy to use.

I would add that we are able to send lease waivers and franchise documents through Dropbox Sign that require multiple signatures from different groups of people at the same time. This has reduced the timing on getting documents back and fully executed tremendously. It allows our company to be more efficient by storing the templates as well for later use.

What is most valuable?

The best features Dropbox Sign offers are that it saves time with getting documents back signed. It allows multiple parties to sign documents simultaneously. It is more professional looking with brand standards. Also, email signature, document tracking, document storage, and templates which are time-saving because we are able to use them over and over again. It integrates with Google tools. It is also very easy to use.

When I say Google tools, I mean I am able to use the Google Document because it seamlessly integrates with Dropbox Sign as an extension to send the client the document. Then they sign easily and return the signed document, then I sign and send them the final copy using the Google Doc. It is very easy.

Dropbox Sign positively impacts my organization as it saves time through the reusable templates. About 50% of time is saved through using reusable templates. You do not have to format the document again or set up the document again. The documents and contracts are signed quickly, while saving time for our recipients, who are our clients, and also our employees have been able to save time. It also saves on paper and mail. There is no need for faxing.

I can say that the 50% time savings has enabled us to focus on more strategic tasks, hence increasing productivity. It has also been much easier for our clients because they can work with Dropbox Sign using their mobile phone. They are able to sign the document wherever they are as long as they are connected to the internet. The time they save is used for other projects and other tasks, hence they have also become more productive themselves.

I appreciate how Dropbox Sign provides a central storage point for all employee onboarding records. It improves efficiency in collecting and completing onboarding processes. It improves efficiency in the timeline and ease of use for clients and client contracts.

What needs improvement?

I believe that so far, so good regarding improvements. I do not think I have much of an issue to highlight. Just two or three things would help: allow editing of documents that have not been signed by any signer yet and save and reuse for the same signers, not just duplicate the template. That would be great. Also, sometimes, a link to Google Drive to store the files more easily would be good. It should be easier.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Dropbox Sign for four to five years, to be precise.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I can confirm that Dropbox Sign is very stable, with no downtime and no lagging.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

As for Dropbox Sign's scalability, I find it very scalable because it handles all the documents that need to be signed. Documents that have been signed can be stored safely and securely. It is also very easy to retrieve the documents, so it is very scalable.

How are customer service and support?

The customer support is very robust, supportive, and proactive.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I previously used QuickBooks Online as a different solution.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment. Since we started using this tool, it has been very beneficial in my organization. We have seen faster contract signatures, a reduction in paper waste, time savings, and cost savings.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that the price is very competitive, very affordable, and very cost-effective. That is not a problem. Also, the setup is very easy, especially when you go through the learning curve. The user interface makes it easier for new users, especially those who are less technically savvy. So, everything is great.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

Before choosing Dropbox Sign, I evaluated other options, including SketchUp.

What other advice do I have?

I priced several versions of electronic signature software and found that Dropbox Sign had the most affordable option, as well as Google integration. In my case, I have been able to sign more documents and send them to my clients to be signed. Their experience has been worthwhile using Dropbox Sign because it provides robust features in a cost-effective way. I find the product very easy to navigate and use. I would easily recommend it to others. It is also very easy to upload documents, send them via email, track them, get them signed, and even remind recipients to complete documents as needed.

My advice to others looking into using Dropbox Sign is that it is a great tool if you are looking for a faster time to contract signature and earlier completion of employee onboarding. This is the right tool for you. I have given this product a review rating of 9.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Hybrid Cloud
