What do you like best about the product?
The product set of ScyllaDB really stands out with its high throughput and low latency oriented, which is perfect for use cases where real-time interaction is important.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is evident that ScyllaDB is fast but can be complicated depending on the configuration as well as being slightly non-ACID compliant. It offers an excellent service for long-time users but could be confusing to newcomers, and projects with very high standards of consistency will be better off with a different tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With ScyllaDB, there is a solution to the problem of working with Big Data in terms of throughput and latency requirements necessary for real-time applications. Being a DBaaS it comes with simplicity, flexibility, and minimal overheads to users so that they can devote their time and energies to the application development part.

ScyllaDB ; Scalable and high performance database for your needs
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is real time and scaling + Also it is very much compitibl with AWS DynamoDB.
This is very good when you have a usecase to perform the larger number of data operations like logging and monitoring matrics.
The good thing and trust for ScyllaDB is it is one the Graduated projects from CNCF where pepople and contribute and help building the stainable softwares for cloud.
Other features are it low latency and supports time based data.
Onboarding and integrating this ScyllaDB is very easy with your system specially if you are woking with kubernetes based deployments.
We use this db as primary for storing the logs and generating the complex dashboards to identify the vulnerablity.

High availability and low latency data access are essential for demanding applications, and ScyllaDB excels in these areas thanks to its remarkable performance, scalability, and efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
ScyllaDB is dependent on their particular use case, level of technical proficiency, and organizational needs. few colleagues of my may be discouraged from using it due to potential complexities and deployment and management considerations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Critical distributed database system issues such resource inefficiencies, scalability constraints, performance bottlenecks, operational complexity, and data consistency are all addressed with ScyllaDB. With its strong performance, scalability, efficiency, and operational simplicity, ScyllaDB hopes to offer a solid option for businesses needing quick and dependable data processing in widely dispersed, large-scale settings.
Improving Performance with ScyllaDB's Automatic Tuning and Self-Optimization
What do you like best about the product?
ScyllaDB is a high-performance NoSQL database well-suited for data-intensive applications due to its impressive speed and capacity for handling large volumes of data. Its compatibility with Amazon DynamoDB and Apache Cassandra allows for smooth transitions for users of these platforms. ScyllaDB's robust architecture and fault-tolerant design contribute to its reliability and scalability, ensuring uninterrupted operations even during peak loads. Implementing ScyllaDB is straightforward. And has good support from the team as well
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features in ScyllaDB may not be as mature or robust as those found in well established databases, which could potentially result in edge cases or issues in complex deployments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ScyllaDB's seamless compatibility with Cassandra makes integration and migration a breeze, ensuring that existing investments in Cassandra-based applications and infrastructure are well-protected.
Efficiency and best data management
What do you like best about the product?
ScyllaDB is time efficient and good data management with impressive performance .It also offers good customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is very difficult to use when using it for the first few times. Community could be bit better and wider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ScyllaDB compatibility with apache Cassandra , provides a smooth transition and integration path.It also supports multi tenancy.
Fast Database, Easy to manage
What do you like best about the product?
I like that ScyllaDB is compatible with Cassandra. It fully implements Cassandra Query Language (CQl). This makes migration very easy. It also means that existing skills can be utilised without significant training. (Quick learning curve) The Developer advocate team are really helpful. They understand your questions and reply honestly with appropriate solutions. They will tell you if your architecture or data model is wrong or if ScyllaDB is inappropriate for your use case. There is a lot of courses available for free through ScyllaDB University. Very low latencies
What do you dislike about the product?
ScyllaDB only supports ACID transactions across a single partition and not across, multiple partitions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working with several tables containing a large amount of sensitive health data. The tables need to be joined and this process takes too long. By using ScyllaDB I expect faster analysis and reporting times.ScyllaDB also provided encryption for my data and I manage the key(s)
Fast, Scalable and a Small Footprint
What do you like best about the product?
ScyllaDB, a high-performance NoSQL database, has garnered praise for several key features.
