Vonage is not the way to go, no way of getting customer support, they don't work with you

Having the app to call and text our clients
What do you dislike about the product?
Awful communication, no help lines, they literally couldn't add a location after weeks of them attempting, and when I tried contacting them they never answered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to call and text our clients with the same number as our phone line, that was the only benefit and it never worked.
Works but not Amazing!?
What do you like best about the product?
I like how the app allows integration across phone services at work. I also like how you can send a text message. I've never actually had someone reply so not sure of how well it works.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how there are errors between desk phones and the cell app. For instance, if I answer on my desk phone, it continues to ring on my cell and says missed call. The integration must be slow between the systems.

Awesome solution, but does need some improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to manage calls, texts and recording, and also how easy it is to transfer phone calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a call comes in and I conference someone else in, I wish there was an option to hang up only my end of the call while the two remaining lines can still communicate. Also, there have been multiple times over the last few weeks where I hear dead air on the other side or the call drops after 5-10 seconds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conflict resolution between what a party claims was said on a phone call and resolving it with phone recordings.
No major complaints, pretty reliable.
What do you like best about the product?
It is an easy way to communicate with people from your computer/phone to any line (cel or land) in the US being located anywhere else in the world.
It also has a internal messages feature for people to be able to communicate with coworkers which is great so you don't have to use many apps to reach out to people.

What do you dislike about the product?
The app on my phone would crash often. Another thing I noticed, which is pretty annoying, is that when using the app on my computer, the Do Not Disturb option did not work correctly. I'd be training clients using my computer and showing my screen, and the app would still ping me and show me messages I get even if the Do Not Disturb option is on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has improved communication outside and within the office. It makes it easy to communicate with coworkers, even if it is through text message. You don't even need to use your cellphone if you're using the app on the computer. You can type in your text and send/receive a text with no need to stop leaving your desk at all.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a straightforward software that helps communication between coworkers and with others outside the company. You can use it through your browser, app on the phone, and app on the computer, which gives you options. I would recommend it.

VOIP and transferring phone calls
The experience was ok, but the interaction was heavy at the beginning then dropped off.
What do you like best about the product?
The website seems intuitive and easy to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were bounced around representatives and each one said they would be "our" representative only to leave a week later. We probably had to intereact with at least five or six people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to get calls from various devices helps being accessible at all times.
Zero stars for customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing as the support service is so poor.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no number to call for customer support. You have to use chat and all my experiences on chat have been slow and poor. Would not recommend.

What do you like best about the product?
I am so happy with Vonage Business Communications. It is extremely valuable for helping out issues and very easy to navigate.I would totally reccomend:)

Just odds and ends issues that some of my team brings to me nothing off the top of my head.

I am very happy so far so no complaints.
We use Vonage Business Communications for our business office phones
What do you like best about the product?
Unlimited lines and long distance for each user. Gone are the days of trying to predict how many phones lines for local and long distance were needed at each location. DID numbers for each user included in the price. I love the portability of the system. One of our locations moved to a new building, all we had to do was unplug the user's phones from the old building an plug in a the new building, and everything was done, as long as we had an internet connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile app for Android needs to be able to sync with vehicle bluetooth without picking up the phone and answering. Our state has a "hands-free" cell phone law. With the current Android app, when you get an incoming call, you have to pick up the phone and answer before the app allows the bluetooth in the vehicle to start. Also, I would like to see the ability to skip forward or backward inside of a voicemail message in the voicemail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost effective solution to Business Phone system. Reduction in overall phone/phone system costs. No more phone system purchases, and costly maintenance agreements on system. No more worries about not having enough local or long distance lines at each location, and customer's getting a busy signal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make to change to cloud based VOIP, and get rid of those old costly in-house phone systems, and managing local and long distance sessions.
Significantly improved our communication.
What do you like best about the product?
The best experience of mine with Vonage Business Communications was the significant number of resources on the platform. My organisation's Mobile Connect access has greatly benefited significantly, enabling us to get into our mobile business telephones. Using the Vonage Support Team, the car attendant and Hunt groups are both simple to put in place and change as-needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've our online via another ISP because of the process in our factory building. It causes us some headache to fix our telephone problems in case our online does not work. It complicates service calls since we've going simultaneously between Vonage as well as our ISP.

The company of a mine can access all of the communication tools from anyplace with Vonage Business Communications. When we're outside of the office, we frequently gain from Mobile Connect."
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the whole platform to its maximum advantage. I do not currently use some tools, but would prefer to integrate infinitely. The venue is a lot more than VoIP, so make sure you learn all of your company communications functions.
