Good experience!
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to alternate between a live, test, and dev instance. Makes it easy to see how a change will look before pushing it to the live site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I get way too many promotional emails from Pantheon's sales team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're making websites on behalf of USG clients. The benefits are the same as what I mentioned for what I like best about them - that I can create a live, test, and dev instance for the site.

Excellent Drupal Hosting
What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon provides development and test environments, GIT access, SSL certificate, and content delivery network (CDN) for every site and the cost is very reasonable. They provide excellent documentation. We've transferred a dozen sites to Pantheon and the performance is great. Once the sites were uploaded, there was no additional work needed to tweak the configuration to improve performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no option for only using an external git respository unless you create a custom upstream. Once configured on a local machine, you can push to both Pantheon and an external repository however the external repository would now contain Pantheon specific files. It would also be create to have the option to enable image compression (e.g. GooglePagespeed). Sales and support performance are on par for similar organizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I previously used multiple VPS servers for hosting Drupal sites. It was always a pain to spin up a test environment to test changes, migrate the changes to the live site, and then delete the test site. Pantheon makes this process so much easier. While I am spending more with Pantheon, we are saving a lot of time by not having to manage VPS servers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Pantheon is a great platform for hosting Drupal sites and the price is reasonable. The command line tool, Terminus, is an excellent addition for the tech savvy or those looking to automate website management.

What do you like best about the product?
Best quality is level of innovation and performance. They also make it incredibly easy to work with developer and integrate maintenance soliutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike. Dashboards improvements possibly, which I believe are in the pipeline soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pantheon makes it a breeze to work with developers with a one of a kind performant architecture. Sites are very fast and allows development agencies to work in tandem with their customers without conflicting. Also love all the very innovative headless and platform innovations they will be implementing soon.

Pantheon is best when working with agencies or trained developers.

What do you like best about the product?
The quick set up of any Dev Wordpress environment and multi-dev environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike. Pantheon is a totally different way to deal with Hosting and Web development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having the Dev environments made easy helps me showcase websites before they are Live to the public to my clients. They now come to trust Pantheon because I'm able to show them with out them paying a dime until it's ready to go live.

It's a great hosting platform like none other . Its ease of creating a new wordpress site that is secure and cloud-based is phenomenally fast. Its worth the switch.

Service is pretty stable and if you need help from support people they're really responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
By design the platform is tight so that you can't do a lot of customization in some stuff; but most of the time this is ok.

Hosting without overcomplicating managing the stuff myself.

The price, easy of use, documentation, customer support, and functionality are all top notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like many WebOps Platforms there are some "black boxes" and awkward technologies that you need to get used to. However, Pantheon's docs and support make up for these.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pantheon allows our site to be scaleable and cutting-edge. The multi-dev environment is key for getting new products up and running.

The ideal webhost for Drupal
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is designed with Drupal in mind. It's incredibly easy to deploy changes to a site and test on different environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the web interface feels slow and unresponsive causing me to refresh often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pantheon helps me show work in progress to clients before deploying to the live site. This makes my development process faster and more organized.
Great host for people with technical skills
What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon automatically gives each site a dev, test, and staging server and has a good workflow. Code is pushed up, content is pushed down. It also automatically backs up each server on a daily and weekly schedule and has a CDN and page cache. It works in git or SFTP Mode, and has a multi-dev environment too. It also has nice error alert features and great security.
What do you dislike about the product?
This host takes a bit of getting used to for non-technical users. I use it with my clients and handle their hosting for them. I imagine I would have a hard time training a non-technical client in managing the hosting and teaching them the process for updating plugins and pushing the code up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Pantheon for my business as I built a lot of WordPress sites, and Pantheon has great tools to improve its speed, security, and stability. I also enjoy the flexibility of being able to work quickly in git or SFTP mode. Their customer service has always been great too, very helpful, and responsive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sign up for free and try out a sandbox site. It's free and will give you a chance to get to know the tools before you commit.

What do you dislike about the product?
SOLR version and that I cannot rename / switch master branch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexibility for dev opes and our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If most recent SOLR is important you may need to budget for the cost of external SOLR.

The ease of use and it has almost all any developer would need out of the box, that is seriously really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far I haven't found anything that I'd say "I dislike", However, for some integrations or special requests you must pay a minimum price per year, and if you don't go past that you're off on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The need to set up multiple servers and website instances to develop, test, and make the changes live, the multi development feature is super easy to use and really helpful, saves a lot of time.
