Awesome UX design for development environments
What do you like best about the product?
The best part lies in the overall support of this product. It's difficult for companies to switch between development environments because of the tedious staging process that comes with updating the website. However, these things are taken good care of by this product, as it provides a mini-documentation in the dashboard itself and the walk through guide is really helpful. I would also like to point the helpful nature of the cusomter support, who encourage us timely to reap the actual benefits of the latest staging features and efficient server overload management. We optimize the website on a monthly basis and the software even helps provide better security to the database and other important credentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is one factor which is somewhat high for this product. Secondly, the official documentation is a bit difficult to understand especially when we are lost exploring the GUI and cannot customize anything on our own. It demands a good amount of patience on both our and the support side in the initial days. I hope they come soon with dedicated help pages for some features as that would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are really excellent for the money we pay for the software. The server management, especially in times of heavy traffic reload is handled efficiently by both the software and the support team making it highly useful for the tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Code can be written in an introductory style without requiring any high technical knowledge, so I will recommend everyone to switch to this product.

Amazing WebOps platform for daily needs
What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon is quite an essential tool for a growing and closed community like ours, where we are trying to switch between technologies rapidly to ensure competitiveness throughout the sectors. It is one of the best SaaS providers, where a multi-development environment is supported for efficient teamwork. The automatic backups that happen periodically are such a boon! The customer support is quite helpful and helps a lot in the initial phase of integration with the existing coding environment and cloud restoration. The servers are pretty promising and work like a charm during product launches. One of the best staging environments and world-class service! Truly a gem in its domain
What do you dislike about the product?
There's no limit on price discounts we feel are adequate for the tool XD. The price is a bit on the higher side, especially for mid-level companies like ours. There are cheaper hosting environment options available in the market, but the staging and integration parts of the shifting process are difficult to neglect. So all in all, nothing much to dislike here except the price and indeed, there will be better discounts with more years of usage as promised by the customer support, so fingers crossed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some of the main benefits include the smoothness of staging our work, timely backups, which are a good plus. The server management part is done wholly by the pantheon software, and thus, our products become entirely scalable automatically. Pantheon also keeps our work free from cyberattacks, which is one of the things we will consider a driving factor any day
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will recommend everyone to use this product if they are sure of scaling up their work with time; else it may be one of the most capital intensive factors

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature of Pantheon is that it is used with WordPress as a Plugin and contribute in enhancing the beautification in the web-application and make user-interface more appealing

The disliked feature of the Pantheon is that as an individual, it is expensive.
But for the big companies like redBus which is based on WordPress it can be efforable & worthy to use Pantheon

Yes, for web-based, Application-based, and cloud computing along with API integration I say this is the best and optimal solution but regardless the pricing must be negotiable.
Best-in-class Managed Wordpress Hosting
What do you like best about the product?
Not your average Wordpress hosting. Provides advanced workflows for managing sites (multidev environments, integration with github, daily backups, etc.). Hosting is reliable and fast. Amazing customer support--always available, very friendly, and the most helpful support team out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
They aren't the cheapest option. The value is definitely there for the price for many sites, but for clients looking to put up a very basic Wordpress website it's sometimes hard to sell them on the sticker, particularly if they have multiple sites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managed hosting for our website and for many client sites. Excels with complex and high traffic sites that need updating with 100% uptime.

What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon has one of the few WordPress SaaS offerings. The best features are multi-dev support, integrated git handling, backups, and taking the maintenance out of the picture from managing a typical WordPress site. Their customer service is responsive; we've encountered no downtime thus far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pantheon user access levels can be problematic. If you are an agency, having a customer specify the billing. The system will want you to transfer the account, thus changing the billing practices. You can get around this by working with customer service. As a developer, the second aspect is the ability to utilize a 3rd party git hosting would be ideal such as the use of GitHub vs. their internal system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main issue is keeping WordPress and the server it would have run in updated. With Pantheon, we no longer need to think about this. It provides significant cost savings in terms of our people and staff time.

If you do have multiple sites, consider getting an agency plan.
The best platform for WordPress!
What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon makes the WordPress work both for me and my clients. I can easily manage core code across multiple clients as well as automate theme and plugin updates with AutoPilot. Git-based code and security of multiple dev environments, a testing environment, and a live deployed version complete with built-in CDN. performance is top notch, support very responsive, and serious uptime. It makes me look like a superhero.

Pantheon isn't the cheapest option out there, but I'm sold on the extra value.

Automated updates allow me to ensure my clients have secure sites without adding to my own overhead.

Customer Support Done Right
What do you like best about the product?
I want to work on my website content and styling. I do NOT want to deal with server issues or errors installing patches or continuously keeping up with the latest security changes to stop hackers from attacking my host. With Pantheon, I can focus on the things I like and leave the ugly tasks to them. I can trust them and that takes a lot of weight off my shoulders.
Also, they understand HOW people use their service and have intuitive features to match that. Example: if someone is opening the SSH login info window, they'll probably want the login name, etc. The environment makes it one click to copy that sort of info... including the entire SSH login string so you can just paste it in your client, or click a link to open it. That's a SUPER simple thing to set up, but most hosts don't care enough to do it.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are some settings / wordpress plugins that require edits to make them function. This can be difficult because of the security settings on Pantheon. They manage a lot of the install and update and security, and that means the environment is a little less flexible. That said, their support website has detailed solutions and workarounds that actually work, and the support team has always worked with me to make sure they work.
I do wish there was a better set of starter instructions for setting up remote access the first time. They have all the info there, but it's on multiple pages that aren't directly linked. Having one "Here's how to start your connection the first time" would be helpful. The support team walked me through it, and made it easy, but if it had been on the site, I wouldn't have had to go to them.

Pantheon helps us run a website that is secure and has constant uptime without requiring us to do all the grunt work of running a server.
