Trustable Development Platform, servers never go down
What do you like best about the product?
It offers an excellent workflow for all our websites. The commendable part, as in the title, is that our servers never go down, which is the crucial part, especially during product launches and during the closing time of each month. Moreover, it helps us manage all the records of site visits, alarms us if our website seems insecure, alerts us about changing the passwords and whatnot. It ensures total security as well as ease for the support team too as the websites seem easy to manage now. It has also helped to boost the overall speed of the website and deploying new things and features into the pipeline. So overall, a fantastic product
What do you dislike about the product?
Good things come with a price, this seems a bit expensive for us now, and we may have to shift to alternate solutions if our sales don't compensate for the investment. Talking on the technical side, they should provide some extra tutorials as we feel we are losing out on a couple of exciting features which we read through blogs but couldn't really deploy for our products. So, we expect some more support from the staff team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Regardless of the costs, it's really beneficial for us and has drawn customers to use our websites for raising tickets for their services, which has made our work a lot more easier. So it can be of a great use, if one knows how to use all of the features exactly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please research before buying, not that helpful for a short organization.

Advanced Web Development Environment
What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon is really an advanced product and is definitely one of the best in the market right now. There are other hosting services available in the market for a long time, but this one comes with pre-made development environments, making this one of the most helpful. Moreover, the customer support is quite generous and always makes sure that the company doesn't face any down servers or some other bug, especially at the launch of new products. Moreover, the dashboard features are quite active and provide some extraordinary experience. The documentation is quite useful and so the advanced features come handy
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing plans aren't really affordable. However, the features are pretty worth the deal, but still not an ideal scenario for some startup or some small organization, so some sort of plans for them can be really helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to upgrade the user experience and services we provide to our customers. It is advantageous as well as scalable for us. It really gives a classy experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will recommend this to anyone who has the initial funding or can take loans. Another option is to wait for them to release some suitable plans.

What do you like best about the product?
Pantheon is an extremely reliable hosting platform that makes all aspects of development simple. They provide excellent documentation for developers and their support team is extremely responsive and knowledgeable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative I can think of is that there is no eco-friendly hosting option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building heavily trafficked websites with continuous integration tools.

While multi-dev and pulling is done easily within projects, being able to clone or migrate complete installs from one account to another would be a great feature to have.

Everything we need, under one roof! The consistent reliability, intuitive UI, and helpful dev features make building and maintaining our WordPress sites a breeze.

Leading the way with WebOps
What do you like best about the product?
They are a cutting-edge platform. Pantheon provides a great platform to help you keep your site up and running with little downtime. They have also been leading the way with WebOps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I still haven't found a way to get automatic updates to work, and it's been a couple of years now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We never need to worry about downtime and performance issues. We have been able to convert 3 sites to Drupal 8 in the sandbox environments. Since then, we have also been focusing more on smaller projects to improve our sites. We have found this to be a much more rewarding way to do things, and we owe it all to pantheons "Kill the website relaunch" philosophy and WebOps approach.
Everything for anyone who has a dev team with multiple workstreams
What do you like best about the product?
Love the fixed flow process has been one of the favorite things for us to handle multiple features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transparency in billing has been an ongoing pain point for our clients, and Pantheon support just sending links to articles rather than providing better guidance
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issue it solves is building multiple features at once and ensuring that we know what is being done in which branch. It makes reviewing features straightforward and preventing mistakes.

What do you like best about the product?
handles sites with massive amount of assets smoothly. Sandbox hosting lets you host for free for as long as it takes to build a site.
What do you dislike about the product?
The subscription costs more as pageviews increase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great flexibility for when development projects stop and start again. Really easy for collaborators and developers in different locations to get access on a short- or long-term basis.

Good Platform for Wordpress
What do you like best about the product?
Uptime seems to be really good, not many outages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer service is not the easiest to get ahold of. When you click to chat it takes longer that other chat support services to get a response.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pantheon is our web host for our corporate wordpress site, so we rely heavily on pantheon to keep our site up and running as well as protected.

What do you like best about the product?
We were fortunate enough to have world-class technical guidance on scaling our Drupal sites for performance and future version upgrades. Commandline-based tools were also extremely helpful in streamlining our workflow. The deployment workflow is very streamlined allowing for commandline based tools. We also took advantage of their Advanced Global CDN offerring and was able to significantly optimize the speed index our site. Pantheon continues to build new tools to improve the WebOps experience and we always look forward to the next tool in their pipeline.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would love to see more detailed video tutorials on leveraging their Build Tools command-line plugin to build a Drupal site locally and have GitHub, Circle CI, and Pantheon integration seamlessly set up, all within a few steps. We would also like to see more tools to streamline the migration between Drupal versions such as going from Drupal 8 to Drupal 9.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking to streamline our deployment process and set up site monitoring and scale up resources to handle high traffic periods all in one place and have access to world-class technical guidance should an issue arise. Pantheon gave us the infrastructure, support, and technology to make it all happen. We also encountered site performance issues with prolonged load times. Once we adopted their Advanced Global CDN product, we optimized our images by generating the derivatives on the CDN layer instead of the server layer; therefore, adopting the Advanced Global CDN resulting in a considerable performance boost for our site.

Make sure you test drive Pantheon by leveraging their command-line-based tools such Terminus and Build Tools to get an idea of how streamlines the process can be.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy Hosting and Dev Tools That Work! It's that simple,they make sure what they promise works and works well. I've always had a positive experience working with Pantheon Support and team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all things in life, wish it was a bit cheaper, but it is 100% worth every penny spent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes hosting painless and easy. Backups on the fly, the ability to migrate and set up multi-dev with a few clicks is saving me hours of work!
