Satori - secured access to data
What do you like best about the product?
It provides the statistics of data usage in very elegant way. The data access automation, ad-hoc work prevention, manual review elimination are some of the exciting features to talk about
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not a one stop solution as several features are missing like email management, quality control etc..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data classification, sensitive data protection and self service access to data through automation

What do you like best about the product?
Satori Cyber does automatic data classification! I have never seen such accurate and quick attribute scanning before!
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience has a curve to it. It took me a while to understand. However, when I did, it was very quick and easy!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Slack for internal systems, Satori Cyber is helping me streamline data workflow using Slack.
Best for monitoring data usage and automate access controls
What do you like best about the product?
The first thing is they have 24x7 customer support. For features, it gives access to data discovery, mapping, and profiling. Users can even do policy and roles management
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't have a ton of features that I could use like Deletion Management, Email Management, Process Management, Storage Management, etc. It would be really great if they can add data analysis and quality control.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Satori Cyber, I can monitor the data flow across all data stores in real time. Yes, I'm able to get more productive and the performance of my business is also increased.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup, helpful and quick support. Easy to deploy and push across different environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Faced frequent issues in EKS based setup.

Satori helped us in secure data access across all our databases, helping us in auditing data and user access.
Great tool for Data Security - access management and data classification

The team:
A very dedicated and technical team. Quick to respond to everything we need - from day-to-day support up to developing new features to our unique use case.
Technology:
In a very short while Satori managed to present a great product that can do everything we were looking for, including: classification of sensitive information, access management (defining column and row-level permissions), integration with our identity provider (e.g. Okta), and basically managing the entire data access to our DWH

Giving you real-time visibility of the activity being performed at DBs, Access Management, Data Filtering and Masking capabilities outshine Satori from its competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about Satori. Satori is revolutionising DataSecOps. Satori is compatible with most of the DBs present in the market like Postgres, Redshift, Snowflake etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data is the sole of any organisation. Satori is giving visibility to what's happening with your data on a real-time basis. Haven't seen such a dynamic product in this space.

The opportunity to work with professionals. The implementation was followed by technical sessions with their proffesional engineers, always willing to run over complicated issues and work with you together to resolve. Satori team were knowledgable, flexible and easy to work with.

I have yet to encounter anything negative about Satori.

They provide a robust platform for for managing data access control and governance.
Satori has a great integration with Snowflake and is able to protect multiple databases sort of databass using different patterns.

Satori presented their solution to us and we are seeing them as a strategic partner to manage access to our data stores in a secure and policy-driven manner.

Satori's access proxy is redefining data security and securing data access. When you first see it, you immediately think "It just makes sense".
The ability to provide granular access, transform responses dynamically and classify data according to rules and automatically, coupled with comprehensive audit trails, allows companies that put their customers data privacy at the top of their mind very easy.
People
The advantage of Satori is that it's still relatively small in size, allowing them to ship bug fixes and new features much faster. The feedback loop is quick, and we often meet with their senior engineering leads who are frequently accompanied by their CTO. This makes use feel like we're a valuable customer to them and that we are being listened to.
Business Fit
Satori gives us a serious edge over our competitors when it comes to data security. Using Satori, we can hands down stand by our values and beliefs that we're doing our absolute best to ensure their data is protected from abuse and unauthorized access.

What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of value we got from Satori made us want to implement the solution in many other applications, but not all of them can be supported due to the Satori's size and possibly other factors such as competing priorities. I am confident that as Satori grows in size, the portfolio of supported solutions will grow as well. To contrast this, we were able to work with Satori and get them to prioritize new implementations and build new capabilities for us.
