its GUI for monitoring Teradata systems
What do you like best about the product?
It is a GUI for monitoring Teradata systems and setting up and monitoring alerts for space, node down, CPU/IO usage, etc, also can set up backup and restore jobs on DSA and create users and roles to monitor their own queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
Server management and data collectors .data collectors wil not work due to invalid credentials andneed to look into this nothing much to improve. all ok as of now
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is very helpful when I used this and mainly for Blocking issues and backup-related stuff and CPU/IO usage monitoring .yes, user's performance was improved.

Yes, I recommend those who want to use Teradata DWH for their business.

Although if IT enables connectivity, it does not guarantee proactive information sharing within functional area

Teradata Data Lab is best for any organization that wants to analyze its data on a real-time basis. Access any production space quickly and easily. Explore any data in production tables while maintaining the data integrity level. It uses its technology to analyze data and give its details on a real-time basis. They are managing workloads for data separately from production service goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Teradata Data Lab is best among the others, which uses data to understand it thoroughly, getting more details, and level it up on there, but it took a lot of time when the size of data is large. It needs to speed up the process to get it done faster. The Production of these data is not as effective as required. The developers need to update it and make it more effective.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working in a big organization, we need to analyze our data daily to make a report and compile them as required. Teradata Data Lab helps us to achieve our goals and make them more understandable. They use a database for every similar data to store and use their production level to make it easier to present and analyze data.

Teradata database is one of the best-optimized databases since I have worked with other platforms as well. The listening skills they have prompt a clear and efficient response.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analysis needs to be in-depth to understand clearly and once you get lost in the process it is hard to catch up since it takes time for the completion of the data analysis.

Handling tasks such as optimizing the system, backup server setup, loaner system setup. It allowed me to connect with individuals of different skills and experience
Effective Database for Enterprise Wide Data Storage
What do you like best about the product?
I used this software as part of a continuous improvement team in a Fortune 100 company, and this system allowed widespread visibility throughout the company for users to access data. After the migration occurred onto this platform, it made integrations in third-party software (like Tableau) much easier to use and led to robust analytical capabilities that were previously lacking in our division.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve towards using this software, but the time invested in migrations is definitely worth the benefits you'll get out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Some problems with Teradata Analytics are that it can be a bit difficult to optimize data integration onto the platform, but the benefit of having a central system with permission-able access levels to users in the company outweighs that problem.
