- The main advantage is the ability to keep the data in the database, leveraging all the parallel processing of Teradata. The constant inclusion of new models and functions keeps the product up-to-date, without the need to resort to other products for general tasks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Teradata Vantage plays several roles for us. It starts with historized ODS (operational data store). It continues with an integrated consolidated data store with information from all relevant systems. Teradata is where the optimized datamarts for various reporting and analytical tasks are as well. By storing data in one place, we can perform data governance tasks.
We use this data to prepare feature stores that are further usable for predictive modeling and advanced analytics tasks as well as campaign targeting.

The best features about Teradata Vantage are the workload management solution (TASM), the elastic performance on demand (EPOD), the pricing model, the Native Object Store (NOS)

I think that the technical support should be better and more agile and the users web interfaces are pretty awful

All its tools are easy to use, its advanced analyzes allow me to make the best decisions by visualizing the data that allows for improved clarity of the graphs and what can be better, it has allowed me to have an improved strategy with the modern and saved database in the cloud with assurance that the data is safe.

The process of learning to use is long and confusing at times, and its price also seems high to me.

Teradata Vantage is souseful software for companies. It's offers many features. But the best among them is how it can analyze data in order to improve business processes, increase profit. Implementation is easy as well.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps user to tackle intricate data challenges. One of the best advantages I must tell is its Analytics database. It comes with the capability to execute sophisticated analytic functions surpassing the limits of conventional SQL. Also, it provides access to various BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Big data processing presents challenges due to current architecture. The price is a little bit high. Finally, I found it is not that user-friendly like SQL
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using Teradata for loading some Bigdata from our application and was trying to do some analysis on that. The analytics DB was really good and helps me to get the output that I need. Also I have used it for massive parallel processing architecture.
