Using skedulo to schedule and monitor 50 home care workers assigned to over 100 clients

What do you like best about the product?
Seeing the status of jobs in a page. Integration of Skedulo with Salesforce is great. Ease of allocating care workers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling algorithms are too simple and do not consider the complex requirements in matching care workers to clients and their jobs. Bugs in recurring jobs. Availability of our care workers have more complex permitations not covered in Skedulo. Care workers are unable to change their availability in the app. Need to refresh to see realtime status of the jobs. No clear notification to the care workers when they've been taken off a job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business Problem: Not knowing if care workers are with the clients or not, or if they're late. Using skedulo is great as it allows us to monitor jobs, for as long as care workers are using their apps correctly. We've just gone through a government assessment of our home care service and they were very impressed at how skedulo has given us insight to ensuring our clients receive their services and also how it allows us to respond when there are problems in care workers not getting to their jobs on time or if at all.

Fast, effective scheduling

What do you like best about the product?
Skedulo's ability to coordinate our complicated logistics network has been terrific. We have over 150 casual staff visiting multiple locations (schools) each day. Skedulo's platform both coordinates this extremely well and makes over-viewing our roster simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The calendar view component has been entirely fit for purpose and finding the specific details of each booking in that view is sometimes cumbersome. However, working closely with Skedulo this has been significantly improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have 150 casual staff visiting multiple locations. Historically the coordination and logistics was done manually - Skedulo has largely automated this saving countless hours.

Good product, good support

What do you like best about the product?
Clean app UI and the way they accommodate to your business needs and requirements as well as making sure it works in conjunction with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the app gets a little glitchy but nothing that can be resolved with shutting down the app and/or phone and let the Skedulo team know about it and a solution will be offered to you right away.
Maybe the web interface can be improved a bit too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're an Internet Service Provider company and our scheduling process have been evolved but using Skedulo. The integration with Salesforce allow us to keep track of our installers and crews times as well as a sorts of statistical data we can gather within Salesforce about what happens out in the field.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Testing! For sure please do an exhausting testing and make sure Skedulo covers every angle of your business needs and requirements.

Extremely flexible and robust application

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize the Skedulo application to fit your backend (salesforce) environment was paramount to our success. The implementation team was extremely through and allows us to get up and running quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some minor issues with saving data inside the Skedulo application when the mobile device is out of service. We often add many different forms for any given job, and there have been times when a mobile device doesn't have service and we lose the data we saved due to a sync error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collect extremely valuable and robust data from our field service technicians while they're on-site in a simple and easy manner. The technicians see only what they're supposed to see (from our Salesforce backend) and can edit only the fields we allow. We have realized a robust scheduling and data/job history ability with the system in tandem with Salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Skedulo platform is the perfect fit for a "plug and play" field service management system. I would highly recommend it to those that may not want the extremely in depth and challenging implementation of the FSL's or other ERP level Field Service platforms but still want the robust SF backend to help customize the system. The Skedulo Support and Custom Dev team has been out of this world. Our organization contracted them to help build out our custom features and they delivered on time and work at a very reasonable rate. Could not be happier.

What do you like best about the product?
Disclaimer: Our company is currently in the process of fully implementing Skedulo, but we have been satisfied with the experience so far

Skedulo's biggest asset is its admirably accessible staff, and their willingness to work with their clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing could be better. But they are willing to discuss pricing at length. For companies interested in bulk licence purchases, the price tag may be off-putting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling, routing, availability, geo-tracking, fieldwork-related issues. As stated above, we are yet to fully implement Skedulo.

If there is an error, it doesn't show up properly and it is hard to debug

What do you like best about the product?
The user friendly mobile Experience and the ease of adding trainers and tracking travel time
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to see activities on the mobile calendar is a limitation for us
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real time information for our trainers using the mobile app making it easier for them to communicate with our clients. Streamlining our scheduling processes.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy for field to use, great SFDC integration, great support staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some system limitations can be tricky to work around, but from my conversations is sounds like these are being worked on. Primarily scheduling resources between regions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficient and visible national scheduling, ability to better track and monitor store staffing levels and expected hourly requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Skedulo is the ability to customize its integration with Salesforce.
What do you dislike about the product?
Skedulo doesn't have advanced technical support during US hours. In the past we've had issues with the Skedulo managed package and needed support but their engineer being based in Asia was only able to provide it during our off-peak hours
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Skedulo allows us to commission a photographer to go out and take headshots of our clients without us having to facilitate any setup.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend making sure your process is defined before configuring Skedulo, for example, while the analytics Skedulo provides us through its Salesforce Integration list options within the app needs to be properly pre-defined for your service team.

Great scheduling system

What do you like best about the product?
The implementation team at Skedulo is the best. They did a great job at getting us off the ground quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, every single part of their support structure has exceeded my expectations so nothing to highlight here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were hoping to reduce time to book a tour for our prospective tenants. We were able to drive down our scheduling time by more than 90%. A huge win for our business.
