Jitterbit: Great tool for moving data from ERP to Salesforce
What do you like best about the product?
Jitterbit is a very powerful tool that we use for moving data from our ERP system (Banner) to Salesforce. Jitterbit can do almost anything with experience. One of the best things is that Jitterbit support is willing to help with my questions and this accelerates the learning curve. Jitterbit is also willing to meet with us in person to make sure that we are getting the most value out our purchase.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jitterbit is a bit expensive for their enterprise license.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Another use for jitterbit is creating feeds to some of our vendors. Jitterbit can easily create CSV files from our ERP system that we use to move the data to the vendor.
We also create feeds using XML files. Jitterbit defiantly makes this easier.

In my opinion, we are facing a program with great value in the industry.
What do you like best about the product?
The platform has many excellent features. The user interface is amazing, since it eliminates the complexity of establishing connections with a wide variety of back-end platforms. I appreciate how easy it is to build integrations using the platform, which allows me to deliver projects more quickly and reliably. In addition, we use the JItterbit API gateway quite extensively to create our own API endpoints that allow us to integrate systems in real time.
It contains small errors in simple processes, which are notified as of the moment they happen. It is not something serious that affects your system in general in the software. But it's a bit annoying to work like this.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the error notifications could be improved, but I understand that this could be due to the way we use the tool. However, an update as a solution could avoid delays due to errors in simple processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jitterbit plays a key role in shaping our internal data model. It facilitates communication between the various platforms and services we use internally, providing us with a unique perspective on our clients. We also use it for specific interaction queries due to its declarative interface. We click on the fields we want and add them to the logic. It's something truly fascinating.

Great product, huge efficiency booster
What do you like best about the product?
JitterBit allows developers to be more productive when doing integrations and allows non-developer technical staff to do integrations, when they wouldn't have been able to without it. Easy to use, great staff to support our initiatives and answer questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation shows simple scenarios, but there a lot of best practices that we've had to get from upper-level experts that we couldn't get from the documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrate various enterprise systems, while increasing velocity. JitterBit so far has been helping us accomplish those goals.

We can manage our data calls and tailor the flow of information to fit our specific requirements

Not enough public documentation on how to Jitterbit integrates with NetSuite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are moving processes out of excel and into a more auditable, accurate vehicle that should improve our reporting capabilities...
Best value on the market for Salesforce.com shops
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I were integrating data from a variety sources in really short order. Training we received was self-paced and effective. And the connectors and examples Jitterbit is helping us tackle increasingly more complex integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The designer tool available at present does not allow us to have multiple windows open simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Platform is helping improve the speed of sales, conversion, and disbursement of commissions based on production data from our client partners. Doesn't matter if our partners prefer SFTP or API, we're able to build integrations in hours and days as opposed to weeks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hold off of utilizing their Cloud Studio until early 2020.
Jitterbit is a Solid Option for ETL
What do you like best about the product?
It was pretty easy to setup and integration Jitterbit into our Salesforce implementation. And once setup, it has been very easy to maintain. When we get on the phone with our Jitterbit account rep, they ask if there is anything they can do to help us, but we are always all set. The orchestrations continue to operate as designed.
What do you dislike about the product?
We needed to get a small hosting account to host their software. This was a one-time additional step we needed to take. Ideally, this would have been 100% cloud-based, but we have been told there are features coming that would enable us to get rid of this small extra account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to pull data from multiple sources (and in multiple data formats), then transform and standardize the data with Jitterbit to have consistent data loads into Salesforce.
Awful everything. Just trash through and through.
What do you like best about the product?
Literally nothing. To say that Jitterbit Studio is in its 10th version cycle is absurd, and an insult to developers who stick to versioning cycles. I cannot get the studio to work on macOS, neither can their support team. The windows version frequently stumbles over itself because it doesn't even handle files on the filesystem properly. The cloud UI is slow and bad, good luck finding any relevant information in the activities page. Oh and try turning off schedules in the projects page just to watch them continue to run anyways! TRASH!
What do you dislike about the product?
Other than everything? No testing, no logging, no real migrations, no true concept of environments, jitterscript is an unholy abomination. All of this is terrible.

None, we're making a myriad of MORE problems!

Find any other solution possible. I'm not kidding. It's terrible.

What do you like best about the product?
Jitterbit enables the organization to integrate disparate systems and replace business processes by automation. Jitterbit is an extremely flexible and highly available cloud solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is frequent change applied to the Jitterbit platform which is good, however, due to the frequency, it can sometimes be hard to ascertain what, if any impact there will be to the organisations point to point integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Jitterbit to connect with our data warehouse and other solutions such as the new Amazon Alexa thus enabling our C suite team to easily query organizational KPI's

spend significant time understanding what data, how and when is being passed between endpoints

Quick response from the customer care manager and the technical team to resolve any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't think the training provided at the JB university was adequate. More needs to be done to train people like me and possibly run classroom training or more videos lessons should be provided.
