Great Product With Great Customer Service
What do you like best about the product?
We have situations where the error/success files need to be mapped differently for a second or a third pass. This has been easily and seamlessly handled through the operations setup. The scripting feature is pretty powerful using the built in functions. There is a need for training for doing things beyond the basics and Jitterbit team provides free classes. The support team has been awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still exploring the product and do not have a list of dislikes.I feel the documentations can improve some more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jitterbit connect to Salesforce as a dataloader with some moderately complex scheduled operations.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take advantage of the initial consultation, free classes and get hands on asap.
A great iPaaS platform for our need
What do you like best about the product?
Highly responsive support that meets my SLA
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far. The platform does everything as expected. It is easy to use and provides capabilities for advanced developers to extend the value of existing IT investments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Real-time integration between on-premise and cloud apps with API connectivity. Ability to apply analytics and machine learning on data lakes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An integration solution worth considering even irrespective of the size of your company. The platform can handle complex integration requirements with ease.
Excellent, Easy to Use Software
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use, and able to connect to any software that has a web interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to open two studio instances at the same time. That would allow comparing projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main item is using JitterBit to keep NetSuite as our company's system of record. Since Jitterbit will talk to anything else, this is easily created and maintained.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just try it, it works for everything.
Jitterbit for Salesforce Integration
What do you like best about the product?
We like the ability to easily map fields between objects and external sources
What do you dislike about the product?
We are continuing to explore the product so we do not have a list of dislikes yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it to import data from external sources into Salesforce. It has allowed us to create standard loads and to easily map with our native tools within salesforce.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Two way integration, ease of mapping, connecting to various endpoints, ability to have multiple organizations.
Solid Integration Suite
What do you like best about the product?
Jitterbit Harmony and the Jitterbit the company are both great. The product allows us to execute quickly on integrations (much faster than other similar tools). Secondly, the support staff are friendly and excellent. They are knowledgably and able to find resolutions very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only down side is "testing" an integration on large data sets is more time consuming in their new cloud / hybrid environment as compared to their original on-perm solution. We've worked to change our workflow of our development, but at the end of the day it's still slower.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work for a school district and we are syncing data in between about 20 different enterprise systems. The biggest benefit is that we are able to quickly integrate and move project into production. I appreciate that this is a full stack solution (dev, runtime, monitoring, etc).
We love Jitterbit!
What do you like best about the product?
We are extremely pleased with our Customer Success Manager, Viktoria, as well as their Customer Support Team. They are always quick to respond to all of our questions and needs. We work with several software vendors, and Jitterbit is by far, the easiest to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can honestly say that there isn't one thing we as an organization do not like about Jitterbit. We are extremely pleased with the product and their support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed our ERP system, Epicor, to integrate with Salesforce. We are now able to push information from our ERP system into Salesforce without any problems. We also love the fact that we were able to put objects on different sync schedules.
Extremely powerful, but not without its limitations.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to build tables and do complex joins much faster than hard-coding them myself in SQL. A close second would be the Vinyl's ability to handle building the app's GUI more or less on its own; being able to focus on functionality and not have to worry (as much) about how it looks saves a great deal of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inflexible at times ("no code" really means "no code," so if what you're trying to do isn't a built-in feature, you're more or less out of luck), UI customization limited so aesthetics often look similar from app to app. It also has a relatively steep learning curve -- hence my lower grade for "ease of use" -- so it takes a while to get used to all of its little quirks and idiosyncrasies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Vinyl to solve a wide array of business problems in myriad industries. Everything from talent management, to suit fitting, to internal communications and reporting apps have been built with Vinyl. As for the benefits I've realized, the biggest thing has to be extremely quick delivery. Everything from building a POC, to fixing a bug, to delivering an app to prod happens on a much faster schedule than usual.
Radio Endorsement Tool
What do you like best about the product?
That I can send a request once and it goes to multiple managers for approval. I can see if a talent is available before I have to go to the program directors and managers for approval to present the talent. I can search in multiple markets without having to go through the market managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is somewhat particular when searching. It will sometimes freeze up and doesn't tell you why. It could be that the talent has a conflict but you can't see that in the section.
It can also be hard to tell when submission is complete. There is no verification that the request has been submitted. It just stays on the same page as your submission.
And when you go back to say a campaign is sold everyone is notified again, creating some confusion. They think it is some change to the campaign or a new campaign entirely.

And when you go back to say a campaign is sold everyone is notified again, creating some confusion. They think it is some change to the campaign or a new campaign entirely.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since there are multiple approvals required before we can present a talent for an endorsement campaign, it became very convoluted and time consuming to make the request of all the necessary people. This makes the endorsement approval process more efficient. Need multiple approvals from separated department sfor an endorser to be approved to present.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good platform and I would recommend it for areas requiring the approvals of multiple people and multiple departments. I believe it is in the growing stages and the glitches it has will be addressed in the future.
Makes Application Development a Breeze.
What do you like best about the product?
Firstly, the speed at which I can go from the drawing board to a fully-working application is astounding. Vinyl handles OAuth and REST API almost by itself. New features get added all the time. Perhaps the thing I like best is how Vinyl retains a surprising amount of flexibility in how I want an application to function and look. That's quite unusual for a RAD platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally I think of a feature that would be useful, but hasn't been added by the development team yet. The entire dev cycle is something like 6 weeks, so I usually don't have to wait too long.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've worked on a workforce management system, an inventorying system, an app that interfaces with representatives at a call center, and an app that is used by sales managers for a clothing company in dozens of stores around the country. I'm also using it in a personal project that interfaces with Facebook API. I plan on adding money transfer services such as Paypal/Venmo in the future, which with Vinyl, shouldn't be an issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Instead of just listening to the sales representatives, try it out for yourself. Really get your hands dirty. Vinyl's advantages will quickly become evident.
Easy to Learn and Use
What do you like best about the product?
VINYL is easy to use because of its no code platform-- people without a "traditional" coding background can learn to use it. It's easily trainable and implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot that I dislike about VINYL. I would recommend this product to businesses in any industry looking to improve their business processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Variety of issues including internal communication and HR related items.
