The entire database is well protected by this software that allows to have an advanced security system throughout the company's network protecting the data that is stored and the web pages that are entered, before entering any page this system it acts verifying if its access is indicated or it has some risk if it is entered and it can cause malware in the whole network and the loss of information or affect to the devices that are associated to the whole business network
What do you dislike about the product?
His system is so advanced that sometimes there are failures that I can not solve quickly which I have to contact with support to ask for help on how to solve it but I do not receive immediate response I have to wait for hours or until the next day to be able to solve the error
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Your security dazzles in a way that you have the confidence that the entire network is in the hands of this software without having to check every moment that if it is working correctly and that all the information is well protected before someone tries to have an data theft attack

Since I work with this security platform I have noticed the changes in the system, it gives the confidence that everything is well and protected against any threat that may arise that affects the good functioning or the data that has been saved that could be reason for attacks to steal the information, but with cisco umbrella everything is protected as the web pages that are accessed is verified first if it is safe or has a threat that blocks the page once
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a complicated platform to learn how to use so your menu is very basic anyway a guided learning process is required so that when the configuration is made it is correct and is well done without errors that may occur in the future in the system

All the functions of Cisco Umbrella are very important for its good development that allows to have all the security of the data and system protected from malware that affect the work or that causes irreparable damages that could be regrettable to lose them for the company

It offers a powerful and effective security that blocks malware and phishing attempts from the web and integrates security tools that offer complete protection

What do you dislike about the product?
The design of the administration panel is a little complicated to understand, it would be good to have a guided guide so that the learning at the beginning was easier to understand and faster without having to read guides or communicate with the support of customer service
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The protection provided with DNS is the best that meets the needs I was looking for, when I was looking for a cisco umbrella software it was the one that seemed to me to have the most complete protection system and that is no doubt because it has always been a very good tool of protection
OpenDNS is probably the best
What do you like best about the product?
Outstanding application. For the most part, I'm using Umbrella to sift through public network content at our library. Not only does it work very well, but it's also easy to set up. Since it affords me the option to instantly unblock sites on our bookworm's computers per their request rather than forcing them to jump through hoops and wait for a reply, that's the reason we chose OpenDNS.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems to still be ironing out many wrinkles in the process. Growing this fast can result in its own problems (but that's a good problem to have).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For a security application, I use it at my home as well for privacy.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I had no issues with OpenDNS Umbrella, so I definitely recommend it to others for absolute security (or as close as you can get).

Its implementation of security in the network makes it an easy way to protect from malware that may occur causing damage that may affect the performance of the system

What do you dislike about the product?
The support is not fast enough as I would like it to be to solve any problem in addition to support levels I do not think it is correct that depending on the payment plan have better benefits because the support should be equally for all
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The system is protected at all times causing a very reliable security which can be satisfied that the malware or some other type of threats are not going to enter the system to steal data or damage that could be irreparable, the monitoring that I can have About the web pages visited by each user, let me know if they enter the pages corresponding to the work they do.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this product overall is that it was so easy to deploy. Apart from that everything just works and it has been instrumental in stopping more phishing attempts than I can even name.
What do you dislike about the product?
My company didn't get the Investigate module, but I honestly feel that it is so ingrained in the product that it should have been included.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Malicious domain visits, whether through phishing or user apathy and really just the standardization of our DNS from the perspective of visibility and being able to protect ourselves from internal threats.

Great product, but spend the extra money on Investigate.

Cisco umbrella is the intermediary between the security of the company and the connections that are made daily because they did not know which connections were safe and which did not enter everything without having a security intermediary to warn me if any connection to which out to enter could cause damage or malware to the system, with cisco umbrella these problems and concerns have been reduced because if the connection is not secure it is automatically blocked to prevent access and prevent damage

To access the prices and know what cost each package had I had to contact sales to give me more detailed information and something that I think is not well designed because it serves to have the hidden prices and wait until they respond to give the information would be simpler than it could be displayed at any time

Maybe I would say that at the beginning of acquiring this software they would give a more explicit explanation of each category that is found to know where you should start to configure and give due process of good configuration since as it is new software it was complicated to know how it should be do your initial configuration

It is a bit complicated software to learn to use that requires extensive knowledge in the management of networks and systems, not everyone manages to make it work correctly from the beginning due to its long learning process and professional vocabulary that is used to know what to do. is working and managing to execute
